I really dont see how everyone blames Conte. Yes, he subbed on De Cegle who is utter chit but he only played the last 20 minutes. Our tactics and our players were all fine, they scored a lucky tap in from a corner then put everyone behind the ball and then their keeper made 37 saves. Happens in football sometimes now we have to move on and win aainst Gala and hope to scrape a draw from Madrid.

Let me tell you what I think is wrong with Conte tonight. I will not talk about the formation or the choice of players because it is somehow repetitive however in addition to those two you have an approach. It was obvious from the very beginning that the team was instructed not to drop a sweat and try to snatch an opening goal and control the game afterwards. What Conte did not think of is if we concede his plan will not work. We conceded and here's where I can point out what is wrong with Conte again, removing Bonucci from his natural position is very wrong. Ok, he wants to rest Barzagli but why mess up with the entire line? After that it was all up to him to read the game and react accordingly, what he did was he read the game and did the opposite of what was supposed to be done. Not only De Ceglie was the problem but when you see the team able to put in so many crosses and that the opposition have two big defenders you don't field Giovinco.
