Simeone adjusted how they played when they recovered the ball, and how the defence had to act in certain situations, and got it completely right


Guardiola didnt make a mistake either(in his preparation). They are best when they face a team that loves to contain. So he played that way. Simeone adjusted his defence.

Its a great quality in Allegri. He identifies problems in our play and he works on them. I also like how he shares his analysis with the press. Makes me look forward to seeing what he will say rather than the generic FM-style post match talk that most coaches give.

I would call that giving credit where credit is due. You are the only person I have ever talked to who wasn't impressed with Simeone's coaching abilities. I would say you are unusually blinded by hate towards the guy. I don't even like Simeone as a person. He never played for a team that I like and I never watched him closely as a player to admire his player days (like Ronaldo or Totti for example).
