Dai, if you win, I will sport any avatar of your liking for 2 months.

If I win, you'll sport a dolphinatar for 1 month only.

This is only fair, come on.
Deep down inside he knows the Simeone can win. Thats why he doesn't want to bet. If he really believed simeone was an average coach he would have taken the deal easily.

Atletico's technical ability is underrated. Both fullbacks are great on the ball, which means they can play themselves out from high pressure on both sides. Bayern pressed Lichtsteiner and he just cleared them the ball back. That's not gonna cut it in CL. An Alex Sandro type on our right side would make us damn near unstoppable.

We need amother wizard on the ball alongside Pogba in our midfield (Andre Gomes) to be able to withstand those situations alongside that right back and we're set.

Yeah and the funny part is we knew how to do it last season. Hopefully Allegri restores that ability for this new team, otherwise we're going nowhere in Europe.
We had Pirlo and Marchisio last season both of which are comfortable with the ball, are cool headed and are confident accurate passers of the ball. But to be fair we didn't face a team like Bayern last season that takes complete control of the ball. Madrid don't have half the passing game that Bayern has.

We faced Barca, who are (and last season were too) superior to Bayern.

FI headline:

Atleti call Saul!

Did you see how they kept the ball when under pressure and didnt just hoof it back to Bayern to have another try? This is what Allegri said we must learn how to do. We would have protected our 2 goal lead if we knew how to do this.
Did you watch the game at all? Because that is what Atletico mainly did. Hoofing the ball as farther away from their box as possible. We control the ball better, our passing game is definitely better than theirs.

Under pressure? not at all. They are used to that situation we aren't. We were in panic mode as soon as morata was subbed and we tried to protect the lead. ATM are the masters of this type of counter attacking football.

I think it is amazing how we read almost (because we did agree on very rare occasions) every single thing in football. Its as if our brains are wired in opposite ways. Things that I see as obvious truisms you see as false and vice versa. Isn't that insane?
