Madrid are ruthless. Ronaldo will go after his records as soon as they score the first goal. If the first goal comes early then it will certianly be a rout. Roma will bend over and Ronaldo will go for his hatrick. I cannot imagine how roma fans must feel before big european games. They are probably praying for a loss just not a humiliating one.
Real Madrid are a team that can really punish bad defending. I hope roma can get a result for the sake of Serie a and coefficients but I'm not holding my breath.

This. He's on 11 goals after the group stage, only 6 goals off the record he already holds. He's probably already thinking about breaking it, and Roma is a fabulous Rof16 draw for him to get on his way towards that.

Roma's problem is they don't have a squad with balance, or players who can play well both ways, the players they have if they focus on defensive duties, they offer nothing going forward, and the reverse is true also. They're not a squad that can punish going forward while playing a solid defensive game. Nor are they the squad that can go all out attack and still offer some semblance of defensive security at the back.

yup. They don't take their foot off the gas when they've clearly won. They instead go for a humiliation as much as possible

After so many years, discussions and disagreements, I have to admit that @Fred was right. Hazard is one hell of a player, a superstar, leader, one who can win trophies for his team on his own.

You fucking asshole. All throughout last season, I didn't mention you once. :D

I'll be sure to mention you when he's back to his usual level though :p

his best form is not that impressive to be honest. Bale, Robben, Sanchez, Ribery, Neymar, Suarez, Griezman all have/had much higher ceilings. Plus he has shown himself to be a mental midget this season. He is closest to Sanchez in my books who is the weakest of the lot (both ceiling and mentally)

I hope Roma wins the first game so Rudi Garcia feels deep in his heart that he's inferior to Spalletti. Then I hope Madrid wins the 2nd leg and wins on aggregate by the slimmest of margins, preferably a false Ronaldo penalty, and all Roma fans across the planet are left shattered.

roma getting further in the competition means less money for juve. so i want them to crash out asap. i'll root the italian el teams as hard as i can instead.
