I am confident, it wont be easy but they will be too overconfident and complacent, I would have been more afraid of how we approach ourselves against team like Arsenal, Zenit, Benfica. With Bayern, we know what we are up against, and I think Pep sucks anyway, we have got the better coach, I just hope our player shows up and does not make any mistakes during both games.

Fino Alla Fine!! Revenge is Sweet!!

we were talking midfielders.

*Robben, Costa, Müller aren't midfielders.
...Martinez plays CB when he plays.

*why compare müller with pogba :sergio:

*we play a midfield 3 at the moment,

so it is Marchisio-Pogba-Khedira vs. Vidal-Alonso-Thiago
and i just dont see why their 3 are supposed to be so much better than ours.

Marchisio > Xabi (we are in 2015)
Pogba = Thiago
Khedira < Vidal

also you dont have to compare the entire squad because you are only allowed
to field 11 players at once. i dont care how good götze looks on the bench.

and why didnt i mention lewa? because i agree with you.
Costa, Muller and Robben aren't mids? What?

Robben plays out wide in midfield and pushes forwards like a winger.

Costa plays Attacking Mid, same with Muller.

And Martinez plays a defensive midfield as well as CB.

What are you on about, seriously? lol

Robben basically plays as RS, and Müller SS.
Costa as LW. neither of them play as mids.

but ok ok, in your world they are mids. now what? compare them to who?
we dont use such players neither do we play the same system.
will you compare Licht to Robben? A.Sandro to Costa?
it. doesn't. work.

With a healthy squad..We are 50:50 with them... They get frustrated really quickly when they can't performance like they use to do It, we can do that, we can stop their fucking machine and then let Dybala shows everyone who's the future in footbal

In an away leg our attack was led by Matri and Quag. Huge difference to Mandzukic/Morata and Dybala. Sandro is better FB/WB than friggin' Peluso. Are you kiddin' me now? The team that will face Bayern will be significantly better, both on a tactical level and quality of the starting personnel. We're a lot more confident now and have more experience in the CL. We have a group of players now that have been consistently winning trophies in the last half a decade, CL final behind us, no more regista based system where our creativity came only from Pirlo, and which Bayern all but easily shut down with insane pressing mostly of Mandzukic, who btw will test his pressing game against the likes of Boateng and will be great aid to our side.
On paper the current squad is definitely better in attack but there is no comparing the quality of midfield and the old squad was slightly better in defense. Pirlo was at his best in 2012 as was Vidal. In defense you had a younger world class Chiellini and Barzagli and Licht was at his best too. Asamoah was our wingback in 2012 not peluso.

Performance wise, there is no comparing the two teams, in both Serie A and in Europe upto that stage. The current squad is not last year's squad. The defense is the same but almost all the attacking players are new. If they had the same confidence and Character as last year's squad we would have been much higher in Serie A and would have led our group in the CL.

We outclass them on almost all positions thus we will clearly win and advance into QF.
We are arguably equal to them in defense at best. Lahm and Alaba are better than our fullbacks by a margin. Ben Atia is world class and Boetang is not a bad defender at all. Neuer is also superior to Buffon at this age.

They have an infinitely better midfield. Thiago, Alonso, Vidal, Martinez, Gotze.

Attackers they have Robben, Ribery, Costa all of which are brilliant and world class. Lewandowski ofcourse is one of the best strikers in the world if not the best after the barca trio and ronaldo. Morata is not anywhere close to him. The same applies to Muller ofcourse.
Bayern's bench is a lot better than ours. and their coach is much more experienced at the highest level than Allegri and has won the damn trophy twice before.

so beating City twice is worse than beating Shakhtar and celtic? come on...
i give you chelsea though...destroying celtic?
did you watch the game? the result was good - thats all,
but we were far from destroying them.

we started badly? true. but we had a lot of new players to include and a lot of injuries aswell.
all that matters is we are doing fine now.

btw. bayern recently lost 3:1 against gladbach.
We beat Celtic 2-0 and 3-0 man, 5-0 on aggregate. We dont have such a result against any other team. We also thrashed Chelsea 3-0. You seem to have forgotten what kind of momentum we had back then. We are definitely far more shaky now than we used to in 2012.

Infinitely better midfield? Let's not exaggerate. That's ridiculous. A midfield 3 of Khedira/Sturaro-Marchisio-Pogba is very close to their starting midfield 3. And if Pogba gets into top form is potentially better. And currently Marchisio>Alonso and it's not all that close.

The only place they are infinitely better is in attack.

“Juventus have a very clever side,” Muller acknowledged, speaking to UEFA’s official website.

“And, of course, in Mario Mandžukić a top goalscorer, who we know very well from his time in Munich.

“In the Champions League, we have always had good experiences with Juve.

“I am especially looking forward to the Juventus Stadium – it will be a real occasion.”

Bayern is a big team.

But its time to stop overrating costa and crapandowski.

Lets make it happen that its one of those days, he literally misses everything.

Like supposed to be on the field in the first place
Get over it. You were wrong again.

And Costa has been fucking brilliant for them. That's not an overreaction at all.

Bayern Fans :touched:

three direct comparisons :
3-0-0 and 8 : 1 Goals ...
good old Gigi loves to fuck up against us . out of 8 goals 4 were his fault... We should never forget that we have the much better keeper.

...sorry, it is your forum, but reading in here someone could think
youll be playing against frankfurt...

no, its not frankfurt, because against juventus we will score.

no one fears juventus, if everyone is fit we have the way better squad.

Bonucci top 5? i dont know. there are a lot a CB who are equally strong
like stones, koscielny, matip, nastasic, vertonghen, alderweireld,
van dijk...just to name a few.

@lgorTudor @Klin:touched: I HATE BAYERN FANS. ARROGANT IDIOTS. the Bonucci diss :sergio:
Forget they said those fucking clowns are equal to Leo, you don't disrespect Gigi like that. Fucking dolts. I wish Sturaro can be useful for once and step on Muller's face.

If we don't qualify, we have to at least show everyone that the gap between us and the best team in the world isn't that wide. Overall it will be a very good expierience for our youngsters (Dybala, Morata, A.Sandro, Pereyra, Pogba, Sturaro and maybe Rugani.)

They're not the best team in the world.

Marchisio as regista is more suited to play against high pressing sides, like Bayern, Pogba is better than Marchisio as a b2b mid and Sturraro is worse than Vidal. I'd think that currrent midfield is superior to the ones we fielded against Bayern 3 years ago. Asamoah was benched in the 2nd part of the 2012/13 season and Peluso would usually start our CL games, like the one against Bayern away. Previously he had started the games against Celtic... So it's between Sandro or Peluso and that's not a difficult choice.

It simply doesn't matter what happened few months ago, we already pointed it out back then that current team will need more time before we get back on the right track. We're now force to be reckoned with and after 6 consecutive wins we've jumped back to title race. As expected. Also in terms of mentality Juve has massively improved over the years and we're more experienced. Not to forget that we have better coach now. There's no comparison between the two sides imho, neither from a technical or tactical point of view.

Allegri is also a lot better in the CL than Conte. In 2014 we struggled against Real Madrid under Conte, and one year later under Allegri we knocked them out.

You know what guys? We're going to do it! I have a good feeling about this one. The fact we play home first will be an advantage to us.
