Actually there should be no excuses even though we all wanted to avoid Bayern.

Not finishing top the group is most probably going to cost, but how wonderful it is going to be when Max eliminates Pep? Can you imagine the reaction?

You guys can laugh, I trust Max. :cap:
Pep is still there? He would do well to leave now, before things get tricky for him.

Well, this is our biggest test now as a big club. If we can't beat Bayern then we shouldn't be getting our hopes up of another run like last year.

I feel confident Allegri will have the boys prepared.

Two things I'm most worried about:

-Chiellini. God help us if the pitch is even remotely damp or is alone with a guy in the box.
-Mandzukic: if he is injured. Everything now starts with him putting pressure on anyone on the back line and its priceless IMO in how it helps the team.

I'm sure everyone is obviously worried about Coman/Vidal as its probably the perfectly written script to end our CL but I feel confident they will be contained. They have other players I'm more worried about.

Hoes be nervous. For some reason I thought I'd be more worried if we drew Bayern than I actually am.

Allegri has a knack for these kinds of matches.

If I was Pep I'd be saying run as fast as you can with the ball straight at Chiellini and let Chiellini take care of the rest for us. :D

Giorgio will need to be at his absolute best.

those last 2 matches against bayern were two sobering defeats to remember. they simply tore us apart on both wings. i have more confidence in allegri than i had in conte, max is more capable to handle these situations. let's pull a porto on them and draw the 2nd leg.

Chiellini worries me the most, specially in these type of matches.

Anyway, there's enough time to prepare for this match and I have hopes mainly because Allegri prepares good for these matches.

I know some other coaches would already be in depression mode and compare two club's bank income. :snoop:

Bayern Munich?

Fuck it.

Bring it on. Juve put themselves in this position, now they get to fight their way out of it.

This team either better A) Get those midfielders healthy between now and mid-January so that Pogba and Marchisio aren't run into the ground by the time they face Bayern or B) Open those purse strings in january to get some help. Can't have 4 midfielders hurt and expect marchisio, Sturaro, and Pogba to keep this pace up. It won't happen. They will break down.

A lot can happen to Bayern too between now and then: injuries, slumps, etc.

Regardless, we need to prepare like we are facing a top form injury free Bayern. Prepare for the worst, play for the best.

Its going to build character. Eventually we need to be that team that made Neville cringe the way he did and beating teams like this or at least giving them a sincere run for their money will do that. If we can beat Bayern, Rab is right, we can beat anyone.

If we open up those purse strings would be nice to get a top CM but would probably be cup tied.

Couple of their main players missing this match would be blessing, such as Lewa and Costa.
Barzagli is probably already watch videos of Costa. Man having Lewa out would be amazing.
