It's just weird by the way. I think only an utterly unathletic person can have this much admiration for a manager. You watch football for the players, right? You want to see individuals excel within a team setting. You watch for guys like Del Piero, players like Messi or Zidane.. Sure, you can respect a coach. But why the fuck would you ever admire him that much? He's just the manager. Only when you identify with the coach instead of the players can you admire the manager that much. And for that to be so, you must never have been a player.
