I expect ATM to push hard for the CL title again this year. They seem to have the same hunger, grit, and desire they exhibited last season (when they were seconds away from winning the trophy). Coupled with depth and their experience from last year, they will be a tough proposition for anyone (except perhaps Barcelona, who seem to be their Bete Noire this season).

ATM are the new Dortmund. Less flair and not as flashy in attack, but far more disciplined defensively, and with a lot of grit and determination.

If we don't win it (lol), then I definitely wouldn't mind Atleti winning the CL this season.

What he's doing at Atletico is nothing short of phenomenal, anyone who hates the Barca - Real hegemony in Spain should appreciate what he's doing. I for one, love every bit of it.

That being said, I can certainly understand if some over here feel negatively towards him for his Interista past. I'm thinking if someone like Roy Keane were to do the same, I'd still hate the fucker.
