The pain is too much to bear. I witnessed the losses in 97, 98, & 03. We should've never lost that final in 97. We were by far the superior team, and the clear favorites, but I guess we were both arrogant and complacent. In 2003, had Nedved been available, that game would've been over by the 90 minute mark.
We won't be able to sign a Reus or an Isco either way. Perhaps in 2-3 years, but not next year, not even if we reach the Semis.

IMO that's more of a myth than fact around here. We managed to to sign both Melo and Diego in the same summer for 50 mil combined. We constantly were among top 5-6 clubs in Europe when it comes to our spendings.
Perhaps we can't offer the salaries that other top clubs offer (maybe) but when it comes to our spending spree (club fees) we're among Europes top spenders.

Maybe not Reus,i used his name only to make a point,but Isco or players of similar calibre would certainly be feasible signings for us.
Its not just all the money we receive from the market pool/tv rights but reaching a final would signal our entry into Europe's and i believe would convince the mgmt on one top player.Reaching a final would make a world of difference for our brand.

I wouldn't call our record a choker's one, but we can definitley improve it although by definition a final is a 50/50 call and we are doing slightly better than the odds.

A match plan has never been so easy for a CL game. Just stand back and counter. Do nothing except stand the fuck back and counter with Morata (NOT LLORENTE) & Coman (NOT LLORENTE) and Tevez. Dortmund's biggest and I am inclined to say only strengh is their super quick transition from defense to attack resulting in very dangerous situations. But once they see 6-8 opponents behind the ball it's over. Absolutely no clue what to do... I have seen Dortmund live this season as they played my local team. They literally just miss 5m passes once enemy defenders got into position.
Yep. It is so obvious, Allegri has to see this. For ONCE I would be very happy to see stereotypical Catenaccio. Dortmund are struggling so much in Germany right now because teams there have realized this is how you beat them, and even the relegation threatened ones are able to pull it off, hell, Dortmund are in second to last place, they ARE relegation threatened. To go out to them would be an EMBARRASSMENT, plain and simple. The only reason they have done so well in Europe is because other teams meet them in the open and allow Dortmund to go on the counter. Anything but getting through would be failure. C'mon Juve. I know our coaches like pulling stupid shit, I know we like fucking up in Europe, but CMON, it couldn't be anymore simple than this.
