'Strip club? Nothing happened’

Walter Sabatini has looked to play down a report of Roma’s players visiting a strip club after their Champions League match against CSKA Moscow.

Russian media this week pictured and reported on members of the Giallorosso playing staff visiting a strip club in Moscow, following on from Tuesday’s 1-1 draw with CSKA.

However, the club’s sporting director has explained the incident and declined to give it too much importance.

“I do not think this is an entertaining topic,” Sabatini commented to Roma Radio, before being prompted further.

“The reality is that the players were allowed a few hours off by the club. Perhaps some took a little longer off, but we are a liberal club. Nothing happened.

“After the result in Manchester the team needed a little distraction and they did it in friendship and together.

“We are happy that the team wants to get together to do something enjoyable.”

Brendan Rodgers: More like it. Wonderful character tonight. We really needed a team that was together and we got that. The characterisation of the team was really on show. Great effort tonight from the players. We were outstanding.

This is reaching Del Neri levels of delusion.

8th in EPL and ahead of anderlecht and galatasaray in CL ?
How is it proving me wrong ?

Oh wait, he scored, that changes everything ofc..
Come on Zach, you're either being stubborn here or you haven't watched Arsenal play this season.

Alexis has been one of the best players in the premier league so far this season, the fact that we're eighth has everything to do with our sorry excuse of a manager and the other pathetic players we have running around in an Arsenal shirt. Too many times he does something extraordinary and looks like he's winning us a game, when our team fucks up and concedes 2-3 goals, or he creates chances for the likes of Welbeck and co who can't finish to save their lives. How is any of that his fault? I feel sorry for him, you really couldn't ask more from him.
