In 2009 Real replaced Sneijder and Robben with Kaka and CR7, both played a CL final at Bernabeu the same season. One of those awesome football stories :D

Kaka is was on fire that year. absolutely fantastic player.

But it has to be said

In a midfield with pirlo, seedorf and gattuso in their primes, and with shevshenko and inzaghi in front of you....

it was kinda THE perfect team for him. going to madrid that played a completely diffrent style that is absolutely not his, was both a horrible error by the player and madrid.
But since milan is a seller team, it was the only thing that could happen

System has nothing to do with it, he was already washed up when he went to Madrid. Also, why do you diminish his achievements by saying he played in a good team? Most Ballon d'Or and top players in general do anyways.

I absolutely dont want to diminish Kaka, cause he was a fantastic player. He wasent washed up imo, cause in that last season, he was goddamn impressive.

But i somewhat see the messi syndrome in him. When surrounded by the right players that carry the team, he can trive and bring the team 4 levels higher. when placed in a difffrent team, it becomes obvious he isnt a carrier, and will do significantly less.

milan was carried by many players. they had an insane defence. midfield carrier by pirlo/gattuso/seedorf, and up front was a shevshenko that was arguably the best striker in the world at that point. It was ideal for him

And he totally deserved that ballon d'or.

So you agree he was in fine form against milan, psg and dortmund ?

thanks :)
First of all that is all in one season. Secondly, obviously he has disappointed in the big games this season, which makes him not the best player in the world for the first time in ages, he's still easily amongst the top 2-3 players in the world though.

Is there anything more beautiful than watching the disgusting Spanish teams get humiliated? :touched: I want more humiliation next week. Don't just settle for whatever you need to advance. I want utter destruction. :touched:
