How good is Selcuk? I hadn't even heard of him before last week, when a Galatasaray fan told me that Selcuk is their best midfielder and today I saw on uefa.com that he was the captain today.
Selcuk and Melo's performance in the midfield was phenomenal last season. Too bad Melo missed the pre-season camp in summer, where the two clubs was trying to reach an agreement for his transfer. Otherwise they could even be better this season.

Our fans like to call him Xelcuk in resemblence to Xavi. But I think he has more of master Pirlo's playing style. He scored 7-8 freekick goals last season.

His assist from last night's game;

I am totally amazed as to how football fans and pundits across the world are absolutely not considering juventus title favourites this year in CL ...

I am surprised as people from galatasary. psg, dortmund . even real and bayern say they are happy to face juventus in next round rather than bayern/madrid/barca !!
