But for all the whining about the red card, I've seen so many teams defend to the teeth with 10 men compared to when they had 11. And given how ManU controlled the first half, they should have been primed. But they choked. They lost the plot. They did themselves no favors.

The ref may have flipped the match, but ManU was complicit in allowing Real to come back.

Yup, I had no problem with the red being given to Nani. A player has a responsibility to not go Bruce Lee on the field and 'not looking' is not an excuse.

What's all the fuss about in the English media? I think it was a clear red-card and if Nani had a bit more power in that contact he could have caused serious physical damage to Arbeloa.

He was also at fault at other times in the last 20 minutes, he didn't really deal with most of the balls around his area.

But he's a kid, he obviously has a lot of athletic and technical attributes.

Basically the only difference is another player challenging for the ball, then it goes from not even a hint of a freekick to a red card.
