personally i didn't think bayern were that impressive. they were well organized true, but it was more due to how poor arsenal are.

imo we would wreck bayern over two legs. with a hard fought game in germany.

:agree:

The way i see it, the only team that i dont think we could beat is Barca, over two legs we could beat anyteam. Hipefully we'll go all the way to the final and if we meet Barca by then, it's anybody's game.

I'll honestly be shocked not to see Bayern in the last 4 atleast. The only side that can take them out imo is Barca. So if they both meet in the semis for instance ,thats like killing two birds with one.

You people also forgot how ruthless Barca,United and Bayern have been in their respective leagues. They are just translating those performances into the CL now ,wont be surprised if tomorrow's game turns out to be a wash as well.Personally those are my 3 semifinalists for this year imo.The 4th could be a surprise and hopefully we manage to go that far with another favorable draw.
You're only killing one bird, the other is still alive :D

The gap between Arsenal and Bayern is almost as big as the gap between Celtic and Juve.

What i like about Barca is that, even though they have won hundreds of titles the past 4 years. They always seems to be hungry for succes.
To do with the number of players who've come through their youth system and have an attachment to the club, I think.

If I had the wings of a sparrow,
And the arse of a big buffalo,
I'd fly over Ibrox tomorrow,
And shite on the bastards below.

Shite on, shite on,
Shite on the bastards below, below.

One of my favourite football songs. :D

What have Arsenal and Oscar Pitorious got in common ? It doesn't matter if they've got two legs or not they're both fucked.
They both got the same number of shots on target, too.

Bayeren is a team we shouldnt worry about. Our strong points counter their playstyle.

Barcelona would be tough. not because of messi, but because of their pacy counters. Then again, we showed that spanish teams struggle against a 3-5-2 that closes all the space, forcing play down the flanks, where our destroyers await.

Man utd is the most tricky one. Yeah we'd win the midfield battle and so on. But those attackers can score out of nothing. Like a van persie long shot or sth, corners, etc

The one team we cant beat should be dortmund. I really hope we dont come against them. They are very well organised, but extremely fast paced on the counter, wich is our main weakness defensive wise.

They weren't bad at drawing Arsenal in and then quickly countering.
Arsenal aren't really organised defensively as it is, but were amazing at pulling holes in their defense. In addition to that, the Bayern crossing is almost perfect.

Did anyone else notice how fast they get back in shape when the other team are on the counter? Late in the first half Arsenal intercept the ball in the midfield, leaving 5 Bayern players behind it. Before Arsenal could play two passes to Sagne on the right there were 7 Bayern players behind the ball, a perfectly organised backline and the two midfielders providing cover, in addition to that they had the extra guy to move around to organize the pressure.

Scary, scary good.
