I find it rather curious that anyone wouldn't want Milan to beat Barca if they met.

Surely, if Juve have ambitions of winning the CL, they want the best teams to lose, as that improves Juve's chances of winning the whole thing.

Or is a petty spat with Milan more important?

Or is it just assumed Juve could beat Barca?

Or are people not actually thinking about Juve trying to win the CL?

There are a lot of reasons, the petty spat with milan being one of them. We are eventually going to have to face the top team like barca, madrid, bayern man u etc. Thing about the knockout stages is one bad night and you are out. Last time we played milan they won (aite,by a penalty that should not have been given) but we failed to score against them anyways. If the match goes to penalties its anyone's game depending on a lot of luck. I dont want to lose to anyone, but we are going to i'd rather lose to barca/madrid/man u than milan.
If it was possible would i have wanted to face milan in the very next round? Hell yeah, but since its not possible i want to see them eliminated and humiliated.

And i think we can win the CL with a quality striker in Jan.

i'm with you on this one. I allways had a bit of respect for milan because juve and milan were "gentlemen" to each other for a long time, untill "goal di muntari" and allegri bitching about it like a constantly menstruating bitch

my disgust for spanish teams is old and deep. i think the only reason why i support madrid even a little bit, its because its the lesser of two evils
