Imagine if the Coppa Italia winner got a Champions League spot.

How good would that competition be?
Would be the shittiest idea ever.

Then you would see teams totally ignore the league and put all their efforts in the Coppa..I mean how would it be for a team who finished 10th and win the Coppa qualify for the CL over a team who has put consistent performances in the league to finish 4th ?Even though Chelsea won the CL last year i thought Spurs were hard done by..Throughout the course of 38 games of the season ,Spurs were better and more consistent than them ,simple as.Atleast i would've liked to see a qualifier between both those teams which would've made it pretty fair in my opinion.

I'd rather see a team that puts consistent performances week in week out in the league to qualify for the CL than a team which qualifies via some late cup run.

Arsenal boss respects 'reborn’ Juventus
By Football Italia staff

Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger believes that Italian giants Juventus will be a threat in the Champions League.

The Old Lady could face the Gunners in the next round of the competition after both reached the last 16.

And Wenger, writing in his Eurosport column, highlighted the Bianconeri’s achievement in topping a group containing Shakhtar Donetsk and Chelsea.

“Let's not forget Juventus, who eventually sealed their qualification on the final day,” the Frenchman commented.

“That they did so in such a fashion means something – it’s the sign of the great team in an exceptional state of mind. I believe Juve have been reborn.

“Now we are into the knock-out phase of the competition – with direct elimination – I think Juventus can go far because they are capable of springing a surprise.”

The draw for the last 16 will take place on Thursday 20 December.

Champions League last 16 qualifiers…

Group A: PSG, Porto

Group B: Schalke, Arsenal

Group C: Malaga, Milan

Group D: Borussia Dortmund, Real Madrid

Group E: Juventus, Shakhtar Donetsk

Group F: Bayern Munich, Valencia

Group G: Barcelona, Celtic

Group H: Manchester United, Galatasaray

Juventus could draw: Porto, Arsenal, Real Madrid, Valencia, Celtic and Galatasaray.

Milan could draw: Paris Saint-Germain, Schalke, Borussia Dortmund, Bayern Munich, Barcelona and Manchester United.

 Poor milan

Arsenal NOW! I want to rape them, mutilate them, make them cry, make them squeal like the little piglets they are. Pieces of shits. If we draw them I'll watch both legs with my friends who are Arsenal fans, and make them cry. Then I want to draw Man U, rinse and repeat the same deal with Arsenal.
