It is because the 3-5-2 is seen as an Italian tactic.
Nah, it's because anything other than 4-4-2 is seen as unnecessarily complicating matters.

At least Sounness (cunt that he is) and Gullit were fairly dismissive of the 3-5-2 and focused on Man City just being generally shit through the game.

I'm very surprised BVB got the win tonight. I thought it would be a draw or a RM win.

Congrats to them. Very likeable team IMO.

It's always good to see City, Madrid, Arsenal, Meelan lose.

I wish we had done better till now :depressed Hopefully our team gives the best and qualifies for the knockout round.

good for you, doesn't take a genius to defeat mancini considering how $#@! city have been this season, hell even DelNeri got something against city when he was in charge of Juve, your arrogance sickens me and many others here and you wonder why i can't stand you right now, why don't you go support ajax if you love them so much.
 Just

Great game by ajax, enjoyed my b-day evening by beating those oil money players.

Pretty amusing that the English seem to be focused on Mancini switching to 3-5-2 out of all the things they could look at from Ajax-Man City.

I gather they played 3-5-2 for all of about five minutes and conceded the third goal during that time.

The fact that Man City were already losing the game at that point, having played with a back four for the rest of the game, seems to be being overlooked.
Who would play Clichy as a LCB though? The guy is bound to make a couple of fuck-up's every match
