Would be nice to have a striker. Maybe someday I suppose.
I think this young kid Boakye has a future as does Ciro Immobile (co-owned with Genoa). I know we all would like Juve to get a striker in the January transfer window but for the future the club could look to these young guys who have had very good to great youth/Serie B careers.

It's headed that way for a couple of years now.

Great atmosphere in the stadiums and lots of fans. Also, they tend to be able to keep their top german players in their league instead of shipping abroad.

this is why I cant hate the german league, they did things the hard way, it was as if they were working together. Making sure they achieve the fourth spot first by doing well in th europa league etc. The italian teams being deluded and to ignorant to change and adapt. Much like the super powers of the world, rich your peak and then collapse, then someone comes in with a new system and takes over

Comparing serie a to bundesliga at the moment, is not fair

Bayeren compared to mid 2000, has improved and is doing seriously well in europe, established, expirienced team

dortmund, is a year ahead of us. last year their very young unexpirienced team, ravaged the bundesliga, but failed to do well in europe
this year they matured, and are kicking serious ass.

in italy, milan is at the end of a cycle, and needs to rebuild. they will not be competitive in europe for the next 2 years unless they sell a part.

Inter has that time behind them. they are getting better and will do good in the cl next year

Napoli, would have done well, but small selection made them fail to get into cl, and as i predicted, crapdinese would get knocked out in qualifiers

Juventus ? we are a year behind dortmund.
Conte turned a mediocre playing team, into asskicking champions in both serie a, and when surrounded by expirienced talent, also the euro's

The players miss conte, marchisio isnt himself, and licht, asamoah and 70minutes without vucinic, simply cannot be compensated.

Give our team this experience, let them develop themselves further, let the summermercato bring an experienced/clinical offensive addition
we will do what dortmund does this year, and beyond

We will go toe to toe with any team in europe next year.

ALSO, we play the goddamn danes at home next time.

fuck serie a and rest the whole fucking team, have the best players ready to win that game
meantime, i wanna see chelsea try beat shaktar. i'm rooting for a draw there.

Then we play again at home, chelsea this time. this game wont be a draw, we'll win it or lose it
mean time, shaktar is getting asured of qualification against the fucking danes

last round, we play an allready qualified shaktar.

the way i see it, chelsea should be shitting their fucking pants right now, having to play shaktar again, MUST get a result, and after it, having to go to juventus to play for qualification

chelsea might be ahead on points, but we have a better perspective then they got

It's not only in terms of quality, but in terms of tactics , being up to date, buying the right players mentality. Really while Italian football is going backwards the germans really stepped it up. Don't expect Juve to get a good forward now, no one in the right mind would come to our tin point league. I warned you about supporting against serie a teams in europe, this is the result now.
yep thanks for warning us. not supporting inter and milan in CL is what got Serie A in this situation. If only we had listened.

And props to Dortmund. They are clearly the best team in their group. Ajax can go suck a dick because they will get raped in at least two of their next matches anyways. And I'd have to say Dortmund seems to be a much better team than ours. We have a great CM but their style is much more dominant and they have better players as much as it sucks to admit. After this round, I'd say Juve are outside of the top 5 teams in Europe by quite a few spots.

:agree:

I hope people realize that in CHL there aren't "easy" teams.
I love how people called the danes a "3th rate team"

Shaktar has been domminating both juve and chelsea, yet were matched for 70 minutes by these danes.

Seriously, if chelsea dont beat shaktar next round, and we beat the danes, they are in terrible papers

they'll have to beat us in the 5th round, at our hometurf, or will be battling for the euroleague against the danes on round 6

without our starter wingbacks, underperforming marchisio in europe, our best striker for the majority of the game, and the coach not at the sidelines, i'd say that isnt a shame at all

lets take Reus and Błaszczykowski our of dortmund, for the entire game, like licht and asamoah
lets take hummels or subotic also out of the defence, like barzagli

next, let gotze stay on the bench untill the 70th minute

also, klop not on the bench

lets see how they will do

We had our top team against Shahktar and got manhandled. Nordsjealland should've been an easy win even with Iaquinta playing up top.

Everybody underestimated shaktar, we didnt lose, chelsea did, and next time, they'll be happy if they can manage a draw

The danes, an easy win ?

tell me more how they didnt domminated shaktar and chelsea for the majority of the game, only to lose it in the final quarter.

Iaquinta up top ? werent you one of those complaining about the lack of a quality striker up front ?

It's all about the coaching. Italian players are as good as ever but only Prandelli knows wtf is going on in football. Milan made Malaga look like Barca and we did the same with Shaktar. All these bx2bx players and one-dimensional defenders aren't worth s**t.

Prandelli says copy Spain, gets an average team to try play possession football and makes Euro final but no-one listens and the local teams blame wages and stadiums or pointless excuses.
