It shouldn't make us feel any better because some big boys lost their matches. We should be aiming for being a bit like Barcelona. They were struggling and they made it. Also people are laughing at Arsenal while they're still second in their group and they have big chances to get through without looking at anybody unlike us.

It's not only in terms of quality, but in terms of tactics , being up to date, buying the right players mentality. Really while Italian football is going backwards the germans really stepped it up. Don't expect Juve to get a good forward now, no one in the right mind would come to our tin point league. I warned you about supporting against serie a teams in europe, this is the result now.
sad but true,
but italian football should really change their mind set and give youngsters changes
it is so dumb players as marronne, insinge, immobile etc at 21-23 barely have serie a experience
they keep playing with stupid pellisier and the likes.

Shouldn't generalize like that, reason why Liverpool have struggled is because they are trying to implement a passing system.
yeah im fully aware of that, i was a big fan of Swansea's style of play last season, not that i think it was all down to Rogers, rather more down to the philosophy the club has maintained since Roberto Martinez took charge

We play Spanish ball holding, no goal scoring football.
as some might describe, bit like Barca but only for the first 80 minutes

I think it is fair to say that the German League has in fact taken over the Italian league.
It's headed that way for a couple of years now.

Great atmosphere in the stadiums and lots of fans. Also, they tend to be able to keep their top german players in their league instead of shipping abroad.

Germany football has changed their mind set and start playing youngsters
and developing great talents. Players as ozil etc aren't typical german footballers.
 Italian football should do the same but they are busy
even the topclubs given changes to youngsters more then in the past.
