Mancini is the biggest clown I've ever seen in football... he moans and cries when he thinks he doesn't have 2 world class players per position. Then when he gets them he doesn't have the balls to use them. Such a loser's mentality... but regardless of Mancini City will always be dangerous because of their talented players.

my friend you are very much mistaken , tomorrow we'll see who will be the one to be besieged for 90 minutes
I hope so, but it's not supported by evidence based on real world observation, 3-5-2 vs 4-2-3-1... 1 wing back on each side against 2, with no apparent way to dominate the midfield because 4-2-3-1 have as many midfielders as 3-5-2, sacrificing CB/CM to guard wings is not really a good idea either, but then that's the only way to do it.

I just can't see 3-5-2 cope against modern wing oriented top teams, unless the opponent screw up their game or too focused on the middle like the 1st match of spain vs italy last euro, but then again it was that the 3-5-2 did the much more defending on that match and relied to deadly counter attacks, something we clearly don't have enough ammunition except from gio and vuci.

What do you mean "we can't"?

Last Sunday isn't a good example as we had no DM in the team.

Against Napoli, everyone will suffer more than against other teams with their play considering their fast counter attacking style they have.

and that is the even scarier thing to see with 3-5-2 vs modern winger oriented top teams... you only have 1 man/wings, your opponents can easily exploit that on counters... and that is precisely why 3-5-2 is used with high backline, because side CBs have to cover for counters, and yet with slow CBs we have as we all have seen, we are very prone to counters... can any you imagine how easy to break juve's 3-5-2 in europe? overload the midfield and then overload the wings or simply counter from wings with speedy players.

we are now so used to see matches in shit serie a and complete absent from the highest level on europe, CL is too different than that.

IMHO our 4-3-3, at least in theory should serve us better in europe, heck it may even better to sacrifice pirlo and play with marchisio-asamoah-vidal in the middle to break opponents midfield and play counters on europe, that way at very least a forward line consisted of gio-vuci-isla can be very useful with their speed.

Real Madrid is like that guy in FIFA who holds the press button all game.

My GOD Di Maria is on steroids. He was all over the fucking field.

barzagli is slow , but he makes up with his gret positioning , chiellini on the other hand is definetly not slow
