That's so true, they were actually the laughing stock of Europe and Spain. They used to spend millions and millions of ultimate chokers. Such a sad year 2006 was, an extremely sad year. Football got stabbed that year, in the back.

Why not, thats what this forum do best, spout ridicolous nonsense, and get other clowns to agree with you like one said most reasonable thing ever, hehe.
Are you sure? You were too young to follow/watch back then I'm guessing, otherwise you wouldnt said the bolded bit. This is before 2006, 90s onwards (after getting Cruyff):
1990 - Real Madrid CF 1991 - FC Barcelona
1992 - FC Barcelona
1993 - FC Barcelona
1994 - FC Barcelona
1995 - Real Madrid CF
1996 - Club Atlético de Madrid
1997 - Real Madrid CF 1998 - FC Barcelona
1999 - FC Barcelona
2000 - RC Deportivo la Coruña
2001 - Real Madrid CF
2002 - Valencia CF
2003 - Real Madrid CF
2004 - Valencia CF 2005 - FC Barcelona
Not exactly an abyss of perennial loserdom ala Inter and Liverpool in the same time period.
Certainly doesnt constitute getting pissed on (Their 7 league titles to Reals 5), atleast domestically, Europe was another matter, roller-coaster/inconsistent/ perennial underacheivers most of the time (except start of 90s).
Yeah, in his 11 years in Real, he won a staggering 8 league titles. But thats 60 years ago, and undeniable obvious fact to boot (and rare kind of domination, meaning not just do it domestically). But above comments are saying Barca didnt have zip history in as recent as before 2006. One can dislike a club without BSing, same thing with Inter, cant deny they have history or are a top club.
Well what defines a top club then? When you win fuck all for 40 years, to me that's not being a "top club". Maybe your idea is different.
Hell, we haven't won something for 4 years and some people here say we aren't a big club anymore.
I think comparing inter of that period to Porto is actually flattering to inter. Porto have won so much more in that time. inter are closer to A. Madrid or Valencia.
