I love that there are 3 grands in Serie A, unlike Spain and Germany. And no matter how Serie A does in the UEFA coefficients, there will always be 3 top teams in this league, plus the Roma's, Lazio's and Napoli's for sore eyes.

I think you mean 2. Inter is shit and was never good enough until farsopoli. Unless Napoli really steps up Italy will have 2 grands, Juve and Milan.

Inter were a big club even before Calciopoli, particularly because of their past honors. They just spent a ridiculous amount of time not winning anything.

Yep, fan-base, trophy room all points out to their big clubness. No, not like Nottingham Forrest. They're above Valencia/Roma level come on.

Juventus
Milan
Inter
Man Utd
Liverpool
Arsenal
Real Madrid
Barcelona
Bayern Munich
Ajax
PSV
Benfica
Porto

= European grands both traditionally and currently,
notice how the likes of Chelsea, Man City, At Madrid, Borussia, Roma, Sporting, Valencia, Marseille don't qualify.
Also IMO the French league never had a super club.

3 CLs, 3 ELs, 3 CWC, 18 Scudetti, 7 Coppe, 5 Supercoppe. 3-4 Ballon d'Ore winners. Yeah, I think it's pretty impressive.

As for the fan-bas, come on there are millions of idiots all around :D

Obviously their latest "success" is Calciopoli related, but we know that, records book doesn't... yet :xfinger:

Is their fan base that big? Trophy room? Bah, nothing significant since the 60s--Notts Forest style. Is Uruguay a world power? Nah.

Porto was a bigger club than them in that period.
C'mon man, I hate the pieces of shit more than anyone, but they do have heaps of fans and have won a bit in Europe. Saying they arent a big club is clearly not true. Comparing them to Nottingham Forrest is pretty whack.

I still hope they are disbanded and Moratti gets beheaded.

Now they are... I guess. I'm talking pre-Calciopoli inter. Yeah, biggish. Like Porto. If you don't win shit for 40 years, you're the Uruguay of club football.
