The problem is that I'm not sure if I can support Milan even against Barca :D
Yeah, that's a dilemma. Not "which of the teams you like will you support" but which of the hated ones you can bring yourself to root for even once. If I were you I would walk away from the fight, there's no way you can make a decision here and not hate yourself later :D

Of course anything is possible in cup competitions but I don't see Milan beating Barcelona in a two leg fixture this season. In Serie A they can rely on the quality they have upfront and at the back and a physical midfield but against Barcelona every part of their team will be exposed and their flanks would be torn apart, even if they took a lead to the Camp Nou they are not disciplined enough to hold Barca out like Inter did. They would be run ragged and Ibra would be isolated up front.

Its gonna be really difficult for any team to beat Barca,i doubt Milan will face them in the last 16,possibly the quarters..how bout inter,Benitez has already beaten Barca with Liverpool, and with the players due to come back for merda, they should have a slight chance to beating them..

I thought so too at the beginning of the season but Chelsea don't seem to having their form back.
That's because Lampard is still out, Terry is just back, Drogba isn't fully fit and Essien hasn't found form yet.

Things could be very different by the time the knockout games are taking place.

As it stands right now, this is how it looks for the knock-out draw:

Holders (play the 2nd leg at home): Tottenham, Barcelona, Manchester United, Schalke 04, Real Madrid, Bayern, Chelsea, Shakhtar/Arsenal/Braga.

2nd placed in the groups (play first leg at home): Inter, Kobenhavn, Valencia, Lyon, Milan, Marseille, Roma/Basel, Arsenal/Shakhtar/Braga.

Teams from the same country and teams who played in the same group can not be paired.

As it was in the season when Chelsea eliminated us :agree:

They started really bad, Mourinho got fired, they were missing players etc, and they started hitting form in February, right before they faced us. They came really close to eliminating Barca that year. Last fucking second.

    True.

I think the game in Turin was Essien's first start after being injured for ages.

I at least respect milan, they were always a great team. not like the scum inter who had to destroy serie a and send us to b to finally win. thankfully benitez is restoring the natural order.

Chelsea, don't make me laugh. They had their chances a couple of seasons ago when they were far stronger and younger.

United, perhaps, if Rooney finds goal scoring form and Valencia returns.
