What don't you understand? CL is about luck & other variables, not whether your good in your domestic league. That's what you said about Lyon.
Their defense doesn't look that grand but their midfielders & strikers are definitely better than ours.
Lyon midfield: Kim Kallstrom, Kim Kallstrom, Miralem Pjanic, Ederson, Jean Makoun, Maxime Gonalons, Clement Grenier, Clement Grenier & Yoann Gourcuff.
Lyon attack: Jimmy Briand, Bafetibis Gomis, Lisandro Lopez, Ishak Belfodil & Alexandre Lacazette.
Now if you're telling me our midfielders or attack is better than their's then you're deluded or plain out biased.
They have Aly Cissokho that would walk into our team, Hugo Lloris is a very good goalkeeper. Just look at their midfield & it's plain to see that three to four midfielders would dismantle some of our players.
Lets see, Chiellini & Buffon would definitely walk into their starting eleven, Krasic with his current form probably could. Other than that, none of our other players would just get a starting spot.
