Benitez has managed to make Inter a much worst team. He made some really poor judgments and overall did a poor job last season at Pool too. I don't know how a manager can all of a sudden lose it like that, in his first 4 years with Pool he did a rather good job, he did a good job at Valencia too. But last two years he has been a complete disaster.

It was all about the flanks, Biabany never tracked back to help Maicon, Zanetti and Muntari rarely helped out the fullbacks, most of the time Chivu and Maicon faced the winger and fullback both at once.

Yeah, I noticed that.

Benitez kinda sucks :p

Yeah, it looks like's pretty much fucked up everything Mourinho did for Inter. But then again, maybe we're being too harsh on the guy. He came to Inter in probably the most inconvenient time possible. They just won the treble, and rank among the very best in the world and even had the greatest coach in the world.

There isn't much Benitez could have done that would top Mourinho. So it's like there's no other way but down for the poor guy.

Too much and no way would Redknapp sell. Better to confirm Aquilani.
As i expected. What happened to Kranjcar?

Don't even think of Modric B :D

Really is a fantastic player though Luka, the ease with which he moves with the ball is quite astonishing. If Tottenham were to let him go, it would definitely not be cheap.
Well we have a better shot at landing then you lot do, if he were ever put on the transfer list.:D

He really has grown in stature & his vision is amazing. I really hope he can stay injury free & grow in strides.

One would think after Bale scoring a hattrick in the last leg, that covering the left flank would be a priority but hey Maicon can do it all on his own.

He certainly has, he really makes some questionable decisions. Unfortunately for him, some of the star players couldn't bail him out of last nights tactical disaster.

The simple clash between Bale and Maicon was as one-sided as it was crucial to the game – no real further explanation is needed there, though the Chalkboards below outline the battle nicely.

The question is why Inter were so unable to give Maicon any kind of assistance in dealing with the obvious dangerman, and the answer lies in a combination of poor tactics from Rafael Benitez, and a natural consequence of the battle going on elsewhere on the pitch.........................
