Wrong. Ronaldo and Messi can be considered wingers because they play there. You brought up the number of goals they scored, like it really means anything. It doesn't, and neither does the fact they cut inside. Robben cuts inside all the time and when he does, he's successful.

So in short, you're full of bullshit.
OK. Paolo De Ceglie is a fantastic winger. He plays on the wing. :howler: Come to think of it, so is Molinaro.

It would be insane if we could get Bale. I've never seen any one run circles, literally run circles, around Maicon and Inter's defense in general. Him and Krasic was wingers would be incredible. Lennon was pretty good too come to think about it.

I was watching the game in some restaurant here in Beirut where people basically don't give a horse's dick about football. Most of them didn't even know football existed outside the world cup.

Anyway, every time Bale would go on one of his insane, I'd stand up and start jumping up and down saying, "Ohhhh Shittt.. Look at Bale, he's ripping Inter a new one!!!" Out loud. Every body would then look at me like I'm mentally ill. The waitress even came and kindly asked me to calm down. :D

Here, absolutely everyone started watching the game because of Bale, even the chicks. Those of us who like football were literally laughing at just how easy Bale makes it look, so that piqued everyone's interest and everyone was watching. That's the thing about Bale he doesn't do anything special, he just makes everyone he's up against look like a fool.

Maicon. :howler:

Maicon. :howler:
That's very true. He does it so simply and effortlessly. He's kind of similar to Krasic in a way.

Don't even think of Modric B :D

Really is a fantastic player though Luka, the ease with which he moves with the ball is quite astonishing. If Tottenham were to let him go, it would definitely not be cheap.

It was all about the flanks, Biabany never tracked back to help Maicon, Zanetti and Muntari rarely helped out the fullbacks, most of the time Chivu and Maicon faced the winger and fullback both at once.

I'm watching a replay of Barca's game, I'm 13 mins in, how did Valdes not get a red card for taking out the Kopenhagen player with a boot to the head? He was last man, the player would have been on goal....Just to make it sweeter Valdes got the free kick?
