So those people who said that Bale isn't that good, and only did well against Inter last time because Inter were winning by a big margin. Whats on the excuse menu today?
Don't be ridiculous, that wasn't said (maybe Andy said it, but I don't remember). What was said was that he wasn't gonna score the first two goals. Unlike tonight where he literally owned Maicon and everyone who tried to stop him, two weeks ago he could have been easily fouled. Due to the result he wasn't. Tonight they couldn't foul him even if they wanted to. He toyed with them.

Andy you need to accept that Bale was great tonight, ok maybe Maicon wasn't at his best but he still had him on toast. Besides his crossing alone was out of this world, so lay off the lad.
He was good, but to say Bale is the best winger in the world means by default he's the best player in the world. It's pure horseshit whatever way you look at it.

Two games and now this player is up there with Messi and Cronaldo. Funny shit.

Lol, total kneejerk. this inter isnt comparable to last year. Benitez is simply a sham compared to mourinho.
Mou is definitely better.. but I am not jumping on the Benitez sucks bandwagon yet. The guy have not played a single match with a full team. Today he has all his midfield injured apart from sneijder. A half fit Milito. Even Maicon wasn't fully fit and got injured in the 2nd half. In othyer words this is not the same squad that Mourinho had. ANY manager would have suffered if he lost his midfield.

This looks like post-calciopoli 2 Inter :)

How the fuck does Bale being the best winger make him the best player by default? Messi and Ronaldo are not pure wingers.

I don't even talk about Bale regularly. All I said last time was that it was one game, now it's two. Big fucking deal.

He's a good player, a good winger, but not somebody who warrants world class status at this point.

Take a look at who is pushing these views. They all love the EPL.

Mourinho had injury crises where he had to play Cambiasso as a CB.

Oh I agree that Andy Gray is a tosser but to wish Bale falls off his perch is a tad harsh IMO.

Ronaldo is a forward. Bale is better than Robben right now.
Robben is injured. Last Year's robben was a beast.. he single handedly took Bayern to the final. Bale is pretty good but not at good as last year's robben... Robben in earlier years? yeah he is better.

Bale is the best winger in the world currently, no doubt about it. Ronaldo is a forward, just like Messi and they play in a 4-3-3. Bale is a winger in a proper 4-4-2. Ronaldo, Messi and even Robben would be completely undermined in that system. If we're gonna compare Ronaldo and Bale, we might as well have compared Ronaldinho and Nedved back in the day.

They are wingers. They play on the wing and they are natural wingers. And so is Robben.

Robben isn't even fucking playing right now, yet Bale is the best? :howler:

Bale is just a very lucky player, whenever he plays against a fullback he isn't on his day.
But he got kept quiet by Phil Neville a couple of weeks ago...

Bale is a very good winger, but the recent hype is too much.

It was relatively easy for Spurs to work Bale one-on-one with Maicon due to Inter struggling to have any control over the centre of the midfield.

Obviously, he took advantage of the space very well, though.

And Maicon has been off form all season. :p

I'm not talking about you, nor am i talking about Andy. Do you want me to fish the posts i'm talking about.

Some people said that Bale wasn't that good, and that he was only good because he had space because Inter were winning.

    Bale is nowhere near Robben.

Ronaldo is playing on the left this season

Yeah, tonight's midfield was ridiculous. Pandev and Biabiany as wingers (which none of them really is, especially Pandev), Muntari+Zanetti in central midfield. Then some kid instead of Muntari.

I wouldn't take a single one of them in Juve to play in those exact positions. Hell, even some mid-table serie A teams won't take most of them to play as wingers/cm's.

I hope they have this midfield till the end of the season.

That is horseshit. They both play on the wing. Doesn't matter what system they're part of.
