Do you think Xavi alone would do anything with an average team/unbalanced team like Argentina? Dont even need to hypothetically bring him to Argentina to make that point, he has played in a mediocre Barca and Spain in big part of his career, and he didnt "step up" as many say too easily. Not realizing the obvious of what a team game it is.

Argentina NT is a fuck up untattered joke of a team after another with new coaches all the time. Expecting one player to magically fix that alone, even if its the best player in the world, is missing the obvious. Huge difference playing with that and the best team around, not just quality, but most teamwork oriented with a particular style that is infused to whole squad for a decade.
No, I do not think Xavi alone can do it and it seems you agree with me which even strengthens our argument that Zidane single handedly took an unbalanced/fucked up French team, lead by a lunatic to the fucking World Cup final. Xavi alone cannot make this achievement, Iniesta alone cannot make that achievement, C. Ronaldo alone cannot either. Two Messis cannot do it either but one Zidane did it. And that's why Zidane will remain the greatest footballer to ever step on a pitch. Right after Del Piero of course.

What disgusts me most is people saying they are a joy to watch and as a neutral you cannot but enjoy their success. Who are you to tell me what a joy to watch is and what is not? Is your taste what matters?

Who are you to tell me that I have to enjoy their success as a neutral, I will not enjoy their success no matter what. Everything surrounding their success is disgusting, especially comments like that.

Is it me or Osman called Argentina an average team? :D

Biased idiots. And if they want to give it to Messi that much, give it to him in seasons like this one, where he both plays great and wins big things. I'll never understand how did Messi win last year's prize.
That's cool, but do you ever understand the comparisons of Messis with Maradona, and they don't even compare him with Zidane, Zidane who?

I love Zizou, but besides being not creative enough without him, France was not fucked up or individualistic unbalanced team like an Argie team is (they dont play for eachother, dont have real tactic, just attack/give ball to forwards), France had very hardworking and great defensive players. Zizou was a real leader, that for sure, and calmly dictated games like NO ONE else can, but France 2006 wasnt a joke of a team, it was very formidable one besides creativity/offensive edge wise. He added that and leadership. But the rest of the team shouldnt be belittled, even if they wouldnt far without him (or another offensive player taking charge, though Henry sucked), likes of Gallas, Veira, Thuram and Makelele had top WC etc. I would agree if the description was for France 2002 or France 2008, both joke of a teams. 2008 illustrates how much they needed Zizou and couldnt cope without him, defenitely insanely dependant on him. But also the real quality team players (also leaders) were all aged and retired with him. Left was bunch of primadonna's and kids.

Can you compare the Argentina team of 2010 without Messi and the France team of 2006 without Zidane and show me that the France team was a better team?

And I'm happy that many of you learned that lesson. :D This place is so much better without the Barca fanboyism infecting every thread. :agree:
:D I know.. Fuck Barca.. But that said, there is nothing wrong if people do think they play good football, or people saying Messi is world class.. It's just an opinion.. People who say FUCK barca and they are disgusting aint more of a Juventus fan then the once who do like Messi..

As a TEAM they are average as fuck, at times its even compliment to call them average, as individuals they are great. But they havent had a coach build a real team for them yet. Not in a long while. They have some good games in every tourno, convince themselves they will go far, then choke and show their UTTER flaw as a team. Thats why they twice been kicked out by the Germans, not because the Germans had better players, the opposite, but they faced a REAL team and they fell FLAT. The best example of great players and playing like a real balanced team is Spain, same Spain that made a great Germany team look like amateurs.
