hate to say it but Man U looked very solid yesterday and even on previous weeks. Rooney and Chicharito alone can shake up an entire defence with their fast moving balls. That performance is what Juve should aim for. Something like the Roma game performance with more closed down defense of course.

German teams = :scared:

Our only chance to beat them is at Old Trafford, I'll eat my hat if we beat a German team in their own stadium.

Now Shalke > MU youre good ;>
Only if Referee will help like last year with Bayern.

Remember Bayern Levekusen 2002 mate?
Those German teams are very hard to beat, they are strong physically but foremost, strong mentally. Even 3 goals down can't shake them, and they'll keep fighting on till the very end. Fucking machines.
Last season Bayern got lucky, but we only got ourselves to blame, we conceded a silly goal when we were playing with 11 men, and while Rafael's second booking was a soft one, his first was pure idiotic and unnecessary.

No way. United are average and Barca will destroy them.
Never amazes me how many times people say something similar to this, when in football anything can and generally does happen.

Not to mention the final of the Champions League is a one-off match which means making this statement is even more dumb.

Yeah, but you just can't disagree with someone saying Man U are average.

It is, after all, not as if they're top of the league & still challenging for the CL & FA Cup.

Yeah I know, it's also not as if they've reached the Semis now like 4 times in the last 6 years? (off the top of my head) and 2 finals.

What an average team.

Are you even watching their games? Because I remember few years ago you used to say how you don't watch football games often. During Menace times, before he burned his head in the over.

The level of the top PL teams has decreased compared to the last 5 years.
The level of the big teams in CL has decreased compared to the last 10 years.

Who disagrees?

Obviously, and it wasn't during those times at all, it was long after that.

What none of you guys seem to understand is that this is the hardest United team to beat in a very long time, infact it might just be the hardest team under Sir Alex to beat - even more than the 1999 team this team just refuses to lose.

I can't remember the last game this season we lost when we were the worst team overall, even the Chelsea game (at least in the first half was completely dominated by United, second half was more even), we've won plenty of times when we were not playing well (the mark of a good team) but in the past 2months have been much much better...and we now have pretty much a full squad, we're not missing important players like Rio or Vidic like we were.

Dunno why people seem to undervalue stuff like will-to-win and determination so much.

By Chelsea game, I obviously mean the one in the league 2ish months ago.
