we should bench one game Diego he is overconfident about his place and it's not fair for likes of Delpiero and Giovinco who are playing excellent.

We should try next game 4-4-2

buffon
Zebina, Cannavaro, chiellini, Grosso
Camoranesi, melo, sissoko, giovinco
amauri, Delpiero
What planet are you on?

I love you.

But I don't know if I should be too happy about these news.
Of course i'll cheer like mad for Juve when we play Bayern, but even if we make to the knock outs, I just know that we'll sooner or later get a football lesson from some team and we'll be sent home humiliated.
If we make to knockout stages, In Janury we bring cassano to juve (it is possible)
we offload Amauri the guy can't score. and buy one more defender for God's sake!

I've seen some bad losses over the years. Some really heartbreaking ones.

But it has been a long time since I've seen this team actually play like they didn't want to be there.

starting Del Piero as a midfielder, who when he was in his prime 10 years ago, couldn't field the position, but to do it at the age of 35 and coming off a long layoff was a colossal mistake.

Our 2 destroyers in the midfield were outclassed, outworked, and outpaced by a Bordeaux team that was without clearly its best player in Gourcuff.

If he was there, the scoreline could have easily been 4-0.

I cannot believe tha I actually wasted valuable bandwidth on that match. Ferrara's tactics doomed this team from the start.

you cannot have two players such as Diego and Del Piero, who both need the ball in order to be effective, playing next to each other. It just does not work.

How can this coach subject Del Piero to that kind of nonsense? The guy was out with a muscle pull to his leg, for the love of God. And to put him in there,as a midfielder, against a team with blsitering speed like Bordeaux? Are you fucking kidding me?

I hated the lineup and formation from the start, and if he was insistent on putting Alex out there, you do it as a 4-3-1-2. His lone moment of brilliance came when he was deep in the box. He could not do anything out there playing so far wide, and how Ferrara does not see this is beyond anyhting that my feeble mind can possibly comprehend.

And when you have a slow midfield like the one they had out here tonight, you can't expect Amauri to get any sort of support as the lone striker. They could have had Dzeko out there tonight, and it would not have made any difference.

They only two who can even remotely hold their heads up high tonight are Buffon and Chiellini.
Correcto mundo.:agree:

I f we get a world class manager and he can't make the current team work then we are in serious trouble over the next 4-5 years, dark times ahead
We are already in the Dark Ages my friend.:sergio:

After the winter break we could see ourselves more than ten points behind Inter and out of the CL if we keep Ferrara's cluelessness managing our players.

I don't know if he will come or not, I think he is the right man to be in charge.
He'll be great to have, but do our board of directors think the same way?

bench diego ?
i was sceptic when we bought him, because i thought he had a bad work ethic, but this guy does just run and not only the beautiful things, but also does dirty work and defend. not like camo who instantly stops playing when he is dispossesed or kicks at the enemy. yes he could have scored but when you get the ball in front of you in that height you often do not know how to take it since it was to low to head and way to high to get the foot quick enough up to that level...

if everyone just fails to find spaces to run into you can not blame diego. if he had teammates that actually did know how to make themselves available diego would not have to dribble against so many opponents before either earning a freekick or finding someone he can play the ball to.

Imagine how shit the team will be with him incharge, we will have the same players till they are 40 and not to mention slow football, which cost us dearly tonight.

Paradoxically we conceded the goal when we were playing better and closing down the spaces. We struggled a great deal on set plays and both goals came from dead ball situations

Yes, I hope there won't be any fans saying "where are all those hates now" if we beat Bayern. I think it's just a matter of time when someone gives a lesson that will hurt.

I won't even quote you anymore, I agree. :D

Unfortunately we ended up in the situation that I hate most. Juventus are ahead of one point and Bayern need a win. I know as of now that Juventus will defend the lead from the very first minute and will concede a goal and just chase the result only to kiss the tournament goodbye.

our team has no strength, we always seemed to get out muscled, we need some personality in our team and we need a style of play which Ciro hasn't found yet, which wont happen with all the changes that are going to be made in the next few weeks
