Im pretty sure Benfica got this. Our team has played one good game in Serie A against a team that is even worse than ours.
Even if we put up a fight, I expect Benfica to defend well and then catch us.
I would also say a draw but it is a do or die for us so I expect us to go gang ho if we dont win it and then Benfica will have the opportunities to score. This is kind of best scenario I can imagine.
The other scenario is - We attack Benfica catch us quickly and then its a score or conceded kind of game which will result in more goals from Benfica.
Unfortunately I cant imagine a scenario in which we win. Miracles happened before for and against us so I have this little stupid hope for something else but Im way from confident.

The mighty Alex Sandro has spoken, Im sure Benfica are now trembling...

If we follow the narrative that a good manager would destroy Benfica with our squad, I'd say it's possible to win tonight after all, we did beat Barcelona 3-0 in 16/17 and then Pirlo went and did the same in Nou Camp in 20/21. I'm surprised that nobody mentions Pirlo's win, it should be in the legendary wins category with Allegri's masterclass.

Not so much bothered with the result, already made my peace that we're going out, but I want to see the same attitude from last two games and to use this game as a springboard for the rest of the season in Serie A

i smell a nasty loss, i just hope we put up a proper fight

i hope your guts are right though
Two shots on goal, scoring one lucky one vs 17 shots of Benfica with 70% possession for them. Exited Tuzzers all around defending Allegri in his thread to death. Tonight will be a classic Tuz night before we’ll have a underwhelming game vs Lecce this weekend. You heard it here first.

No goal line technology? I can sense some controversial decisions though it hardly matters as a miracle is required.

If there is a problem they should postpone it and not just play without it. I dont expect it to be decisive since I dont expect a result anyway
