Thanks for being class. I agree with almost everything you said, except that defending in the box was NOT inevitable.
Also Pep is really an idiot for playing Xabi Alonso, and Neuer's overconfidence is a ticking time bomb.

I love this team more than ever. Forza Juve
Being class? This guy abandoned his team when they were down. What a loser.

this. and I know, we shouldn't wheine about the refs, but in the two games there were six decisive mistakes. That's a few too many to take vs a strong team like Bayern. You can concede, but up to a certain point
I wouldn't blame the refs. Our defending was pathetic. Only robbens goal was a moment of brilliance. Muller first goal khedira losing the ball, all the players including Buffon running towards the ball and leaving him unmarked in the middle of the fucking penalty area.

Same with the return leg. 3 minutes left and Muller again alone in the middle of the penalty box for an easy header. And Buffon should have gone out and get the cross in the first goal. Lewandoski practically headed in front of him.

:-/ I didn't abandon my team. I wanted to puck with our defensive performance, but that doesn't mean I stopped believing. When we made it 1-2 I just knew we would make it. I felt it. But still, it's unacceptable to be 2 down at home in 30 minutes, I expect better from my players and, also, f4ck Pep! I want Carlo in already.

Also, I wasn't in the live math thread.

You really think Gigi is going to leave us before he turns 50?

All joking aside, I think he could go on for another 2 years physically (to be fair he's the best goalkeeper in the world this season). Whether he has the energy mentally I don't know.
He said he was planning to retire after the World Cup in 2018:
“If I can push myself up to the 2018 World Cup then I’ll go on,” Buffon said, as he accepted a Gianni Brera award for Sportsman of the Year.

“After that I’ll close the door and stop playing football.”
Two campaigns left. It probably isn't enough, but let's hope it is.

Oh it was some other German then. Nevermind.

If you believed in it 0-2 down, congrats to you, mate!

This still hurts so fucking much. Especially reading the classy comments from opposing fans acknowledging that we should have gone through. We learned something yesterday though, we are back and we are top 4 in Europe. We just have to believe in ourselves and let Marotta do his thing on the market. Forza juve. We should be proud of ourselves this time, but next time a loss will not be acceptable.

If ever there was a presumptuous piece of posting, this would be it. You're greatly undersestimating the psychological aspect of a game like the one last night. It may well be the players are filled with rage and destroy everything in their path, while on the other hand, it could easily deflate them and drain them out enough to not be able to pull off a result they would otherwise. Scudetto is far from over. We are completely mentally and physically drained and need the break to recover, which is why this result on Sunday is important and while Torino are fired up for it, we are not. This is where the individuals would perhaps need to stand up and be counted coz the team's morale is down.
Exactly.

I just watced the game again! Do you guys realise How undesesrved Bayern won this match? How we didnt score 3 goals is beyond me, and How Bayern scored 4??? They created nothing! Even when going 2-1 they didnt create anything! They missed on chance with muller in first half thats it! Even en XT they scored on the only two shots they had, and we missed Giant chances with first lichsteiner and later mandzukic and Sturaro!!

I dont recall We have been aliminated in that Way! We outplayed Bayern!
Evra was a beast all night but the two mistskes was shockers! Specialy the first! He for sure did cost the victory, not clearing and starting to dribble!
That's why I still, almost 24 hours later, feel an utmost pain .Unbearable.I wasn't so pissed of when we lost last year final.I just cannot accept that we lost this game. And that turds.....,especially that retro peasant Muller and that Polak Lewandowski. It's a fierce competition who is the dirtiest player in the world between him and Diego Costa.Only one thing arises as a positive about this.I understand that I love Juve even more before this game. One and only team in the world.

Even Cesari on Merdaset said was a straight red. I mean, we are talking about an ex-ref and professional Juve hater who contributed to set up the Farsopoli scandal.
And that completely onside canceled goal.At least 1 meter Morata was onside. At least.

I am not saying we didn't make mistakes. Everything contributed to our defeat. Including the ref's mistakes. 6 situations, let's call them 50/50 for sake of argument, they all went in Bayern's favour.

Well, if you want to give him to us for less than 60m I'd take him gladly, but the +100m type of transfers are not really our thing ;) I hope you keep him. With him, Dybala, your Italian core and Morata you've got nice base to build on.
Getting Vidal for a peanut 37 mil. was enough bargain .So look for eventual reinforcements somewhere else. And hope that next time we met the referee wont need two pair of glasses to see that Morata was onside at least 1 meter.I am not whining .Pure fact. One meter .At least. That far was your fine prospect Kimmich in front of Morata.
Yes you eliminate us .Congratulations on that, even undeserved .I am not pathetic but this is very clear, you won't win the CL this year.Barcelona(the same team that beat us last year) will kill you.Again, will kill you.Watch and see.And then the referee will have a proper eyes to see everything not like last night.PM me if you met Barcelona and if that match don't go like I predict.I will apologize about my prediction.

This loss hurts so much, way more than the final last year. We THREW this match away and that is what hurts not the fact that we lost but the fact that we had this game in the bag and were dominating them.

I still dont like the way we always end up pressed back in our own half against good teams. They never really fear us and can throw the kitchen sink at us as we inevitably fall deeper and deeper into our own half parking the bus.

Allegri 100% lost us this match with his subs though, Morata was still able to run during the game and he took him off for Mandzukic who did not do anything at all against Bayern despite being fresh.

I am not saying we didn't make mistakes. Everything contributed to our defeat. Including the ref's mistakes. 6 situations, let's call them 50/50 for sake of argument, they all went in Bayern's favour.
The Morata goal was not even a 50/50 he was a full yard onside it's not like it was close where you can understand the ref not allowing it. We are never given the benefit of the doubt and like you said Bayern got the benedit of the doubt on every single decision in both matches.

Yep gonna take longer than I thought to overcome this. I don't know if this is as bad as last season but definitely not far.

It's not that we get pegged back against good teams its the same against shit teams as well. We really need to break out of this habbit.

Rummenigge urges UEFA to change Champions League draw format

The Bayern Munich CEO has urged UEFA to introduce a seeding system for the knockout stages to protect the big teams in Europe's elite competition

Bayern Munich chairman Karl-Heinz Rummenigge has called on UEFA to change its seeding system for Champions League draws in order to protect the so-called big teams after the group stage.

The Bundesliga champions saw off last season's runners-up Juventus in the round of 16 to book their ticket for the quarter-finals and Rummenigge feels it would be in football's best interest if UEFA came up with a system to keep the big teams apart as long as possible.

"What I don't like about the Champions League draw for the knockout stages is that it all depends on fate," Rummenigge told reporters.

"UEFA should consider an alternative with seeded teams or something similar.

"I saw some games in the first knockout stage where I came close to switching off the TV.

To spend 50 minutes in our own half with no threat going forward is ridiculous. It's just begging to lose and like we saw with Evra all it takes is one mistake and they score because they are so close to goal all the time like that.

I dont ever see us breaking out of that unless we get players that are able to run at defences and force other teams back and to play a bit more cautious.

The only reason we had a counter attack last night is because Allegri was forced to start Morata with injuries.
