You make your own luck.

Had we not lost to Sevilla, we wouldn't be facing an elite European team so early.

Anyway we do lack some more ingredients to be a consistent top European team at the level of Barça or Bayern.Hopefully we get there in some yrs time.
Was thinking about the Seville defeat as well, should have never played Bayern this early. Pretty salty about a round-of-16 exit.

Gutted as fuck. Really heartbreaking shit. But can't blame the lads at all.

I don't see this as a "collapse". It was really intense, and during a lengthy game of fotball you will naturally have stages of the game when players get more tired and play more compact. The thing with Bayern, is that they have immense quality to punish sides in stages like that, and that's what happened. When we played at full strength, I actually thought we were the better side. But it's impossible to keep such intensity up for 90 minutes, let alone 120.

Who can fault this Juve? Incredible guts, incredible intensity, incredible to score 2 goals in this difficult stadium and incredible defending. But at some point one just has to acknowledge the fact that Bayern is a formidable side. We almost did it. We were 2 minutes away. But it was not to be.

Feel like shit now, but I'm proud of my club.

Forza Juve!

Enjoyable early and mid game, but such a great shame we blew it during the last quarter. And conceding two goals in quick succession during OT just ain't right. It's hard to point at anything to blame when the whole team fell apart in the last 30 minutes.

Oh well... FORZA JUVE :ultra:

We were ultimately beaten by a better side. We need to learn from these shortcomings, as there was little to separate the sides.

I actually think it worked in our favor not having Dybala today up until their first goal of course. Morata was playing perfectly for our tactics.

What was Allegri thinking with subbing him off? He didn't look injured and what's worse is that Mandzukic could barely run.
Did we have zaza on the bench ?

Cause when we took off morata, bayern's backline was allowed to play like 30 meters higher up the field, and we lost our entire counter attack

Allegri is a hero. Be heroes they were fuck it. I'm proud of the guys we were there... almost. We deserve respect, shame result might not vouch for it but those who watched us can say nothing bad. We are giants and it was a punch by punch. Our injuries screwed us, unlucky but we can hold our heads high. Cuadrado and morata love them both. We can build on this.

We gave it our all, we didnt got the third goal , well we did but it was disallowed.

Then we inevitably couldnt keep the pace and had to sit back, and concede 1 nice, and 1 exceptionally stupid goal.

All this shit about "italian mentality" is retarded. We were never gonna be able to play that way all game. We did a great efford, got very close, but went out. But bayern got very lucky today.
Spot on Zach.

People don't understand you can't press like that for 90 minutes. You only get 3 subs. Allegri chose defensive subs, and it backfired after they tied it up on a very poor Evra mistake. Evra doesn't make that mistake we probably hold on for the win. But shit happens. We'll be back next year, and even better.
