It's easy to blame individuals but I won't do it, because many of those who made decisive errors did some good things too.

Bitter taste and lots of regrets. In the CL we felt the consequences of the mercato, and we felt them in a really painful way. First Llorente, then Vidal with the won ball and Coman with the cross and the goal. Last year's team would have won this 0:3 like they won in Dortmund, but we didn't have lots of those strong players and characters.

You make your own luck.

Had we not lost to Sevilla, we wouldn't be facing an elite European team so early.

Anyway we do lack some more ingredients to be a consistent top European team at the level of Barça or Bayern.Hopefully we get there in some yrs time.

We definitely go out with our heads held high.Lets remember this is a team in transition so I dint expect any miracles in CL at the start of the season.

A domestic double would still cap off an excellent season for the club.
I do agree to some extent but it has shown over the years that you need luck to win the CL. The year Liverpool won it, we had a perfectly good goal ruled out against them, they had a goal against Chelsea that didn't cross the line and were very lucky not to be down to 10 men in the final.

We should have done better but there have been numerous times where luck went against us e.g. v Sevilla hitting the post, questionable decisions at home vs Bayern, a legit goal and hitting the post tonight, even Kompany's goal against us (not that it mattered).

Of course you need more than luck, but if these things went for us things could have been different.

I find it surprising no one mentions how we lost the ball on the second goal the first time.

We were in possession players up the field, by the left sideline. then licht gave a horrible pass and it went out, bayern tried a quick central attack, we got it, then evra lost it and they scored.

Thing is, its the 89th minute, we had possession and licht wasnt pressured. Should have never seen the ball go out there.

We gave it our all, we didnt got the third goal , well we did but it was disallowed.

Then we inevitably couldnt keep the pace and had to sit back, and concede 1 nice, and 1 exceptionally stupid goal.

All this shit about "italian mentality" is retarded. We were never gonna be able to play that way all game. We did a great efford, got very close, but went out. But bayern got very lucky today.

We had the game in hand and threw it away at two moments - the wasted 3-0 chance(s) and when an experienced player randomly decided to try dribbling a ball that should have been hoofed away. Nothing we could do about their first goal.

By ET we had 90% lost anyway because we had made subs to see out a lead. Yet we still had chances to score. Bayern can't defend under pressure, they were atrocious at the back, and Neuer was one of the biggest clowns back there. But we left the match conditions shift massively and that's what happens.

By the way, the officials were absolute garbage, regardless of the result. When I see a Swedish ref it's like seeing an old Bangladeshi woman driving, I close my eyes and hope for the best. Off back to Helsingborgs against AIK next week eh buddy? Seriously...

Disappointed but really this CL campaign has shown two things - that we don't need to fear anyone anymore, and that we need to manage games better, we shoot ourselves in the foot in good positions too often. Our final group standing was one thing, but it's because the CL is open and you can't close teams out 1-0 all the time. We are not at our best recently but tonight we had a great chance for a big result and really we lost the game rather than Bayern winning.

I also don't see Bayern being good enough to win it, just because of Barcelona. They give up far too much when pressed.

We were ultimately beaten by a better side. We need to learn from these shortcomings, as there was little to separate the sides.
Over the two matches, no doubt they deserved it. Especially the first match. Still, after being 2-0 up tonight it really stings...

Why didnt lewa get a red card? The ref was a fucking disgrace! All oir players on very weak yellow made it very risky for them to tackle and defend properly. So many lost chances so much regret

I would have preferred to see Zaza over Mandzukic here.
I would have preferred to have Morata's goal allowed.
I would have preferred......

Lots of regrets as @Alen has already said. We should have won this game and that's that.

I'm fucked off and disappointed.
