I want our team to press and run like madmen. Hernanes is bound to fuck up in these situations, given his softness and slowness. We absolutely can't have a midfield of Hernanes and Khedira together. Sturaro would be a good DM, or maybe Asamoah.

Pace is only part of it. Kimmich is unnatural in the position. But Cuadrado is very different from Aubameyang. Aubameyang is fast but he is a number 9. Cuadrado is probably the best player in Serie A on taking players on 1x1. Cuadrado is a much better dribbler than Aubameyang. That is why is fouled 3.2x per game vs. Aubameyang at 0.6x. I'm not saying the strategy would work, but for a player who isn't natural in the defense position, playing Cuadrado wouldn't be fun.

That being said, knowing Cuadrado, he would beat Kimmich easily, and then miss the net or shoot is straight at the keeper, which is why many on the board hate him.
