what?

i'd go with the 352.

---------Rugani---BonBon---Barza
Licht--Sturaro--Hernanes--Pogba--A.Sandro
-------------Dybala------Mandzu

...

...but we will end up with this:

Licht----Barza----BonBon----Evra
------Khedira-Hernanes-Pogba
Cuadrado
-----------Dybala--Mandzu
Fuck off yourself, you post 4 formations. Speak of a stupid post. Licht sucks on the wing in these games. He cant keep up with the pace. Evra is too conservative. There is only one way and that is 3-5-2. Question is if Khedira starts or Sturaro or Asamoah. Khedira most likely, and that is our strongest lineup.
see? thing is...i didn't even disagree :boh:

Licht is perfect to balance things out whenever Alex Sandro is playing LWB - and no, he isn't slow. ask neymar, reus, or ronaldo. Max always fields a offensive, and a defensive wingback. you should know this if you watch a juve game every now and then. Cuadrado in a 433 or 442ish formation yes,
or even as sub in a 352, but we wont see him AND Alex Sandro from the start.

well, this wasn't unexpected. This one is not on doctors or conditioning trainers. Marchisio was simply runned into the ground by Allegri.

He is a guy who runs like a madman, covering a lot of space back and forth and who finishes games typically at his physical limit.

It was clear he was exhausted.

Anyway, Marchisio in the current form, and at the current level of exhaustion... we could actually improve if Lemina or Sturaro can hold their shit together.

But if Hernanes is in the starting 11, wave goodbye to having any chances.

we always played like shit with a 4 men defense, but this time... just can't put Rugani on this position.

I want to see Sandro and Licht as fullbacks (god forbid if he plays Evra), Sturaro as a DM (IMO it should be his main position - he's bad creating offense, he's got great stamina to do some sort of anchor man), Pogba - Khedira, and Cuadrado.

If we field this team, our chances should be there, even if slim.

No Chiellini, Marchisio or Mandzukic. In the span of like no time at all. We have been completely de-balled. Then if we see the 442 with Pogba as a winger...:howler:

Are you really taking a bait from a DA with 76 posts in 6 years?

Yes Licht is an okay defensive option, when it is enough to win a game with just one threatening wing. But we saw last game, and in several other games that Lichts control of the ball is a mess and that he looses possesion or puts us under pressure with bad passes and playing backwards. He might be a more stable option defensively against Bayern, but we are going to be fucked if just try to soak up pressure. We cant contain those players, we need to play our game, push them back, hold on to the ball, keep posssesion, threatening them with the fast and technical players we have. Hernanes will be vital in that regard.

Not talking a lot of shit for 6 years on an internet forum disquallifies my arguments? In these 77 posts I have most likely talked more sense than the daidevil and his attention seeking adventure in here.

i've been waiting for this though.

what now? 442 with hernanes and khedira in the mid? kill me now.

rather go 4312 with pereyra at the AM spot and Pogba back to CM.
or even 352 with Rugani...just dont play hernanes---Khedira. that would be suicide.

come in and call me no-balls @Post Ironic

I'm pretty dubious as well at this point. No Marchisio, no Mandzu, no Chiello... Allegri will probably start Evra and Licht as fullbacks... Khedira-Hernanes in midfield is slow as fuck...

Only way we can do this is if Morata somehow recovers his CL form from last season, and Dybala has a hell of a game. Basically depends on us actually being clinical and finishing every chance we get.

I'd like to see Allegri say fuck it, and start Lemina and Sandro, and just go for it.

Well without Chiellini, Marchisio and Mandzukic you are losing a lot of defensive solidity. Seems dumb to go out there with a measured, defensive approach because there are less players in the lineup that can even play like that.

Just go down guns blazing. Cuadrado, Sandro, Pereyra. Play them all.
