Ballack will give us a very hard time since we r missing Paddy...

I know that Tacchi wasn't more talented than Gianni but at least the former got passion... Gianni's workrate r extremely low, anyone who watched Juve will notice how easy ya can forget Gianni presence on the field....
Please don't mention tacchi.. He's one of my all time favourite players. I liked his presence and charecter in the field.

Gianni is suicidal. I respect him for that.

Compared with Viera nearly everybody is bad :)
True that... Viera is in a class of his own, Giannichedda will have to do with support from Nedved and Emerson, Up front Trez and DP will be sufficent with a second half subsitute of Zlatan ( who i feel will raise hell on them ,call me crazy) and Blasi for Giannichedda .....we need a good game from abbaiti and we also need him to catch a friggin ball for a change other than batting them away like a girl....if our guys have a good game i feel we can win 2-1 mabey 3 if we take control early.....Forza Juve!!!

Vieira to miss Bayern clash Sunday 16 October, 2005

---------------------------------------------------------------------------

Juventus will travel to Munich without Patrick Vieira and Jonathan Zebina for Tuesday’s Champions League showdown.

The joint Group A leaders will face off in Germany and at least one of them must lose their 100 per cent record in the European tournament.

Vieira also missed out on yesterday’s 1-0 Serie A win over Messina, as he suffered a muscular injury in his right thigh during international duty with France.

The Juventus official website announced today that the former Arsenal midfielder would resume full training with the rest of the squad in a few days.

Fellow Frenchman Zebina is also sidelined by injury, so Manuele Blasi and Giuliano Giannichedda will challenge to fill in Vieira’s midfield role alongside Emerson.

Alessandro Del Piero is expected to start alongside Zlatan Ibrahimovic after scoring a splendid solo effort against Messina on Saturday evening.

“My new starting position is a little deeper and that effectively helps my style of play,” said the Italian international. “A good performance gives you even more motivation to keep going and these two games with Italy and Juve have really boosted my enthusiasm.”

Juventus squad: Chiellini, Kovac, Pessotto, Emerson, Ibrahimovic, Del Piero, Nedved, Chimenti, Balzaretti, Camoranesi, Trezeguet, Mutu, Zambrotta, Blasi, Thuram, Bonnefoi, Giannichedda, Zalayeta, Gladstone, Cannavaro, Abbiati

    hope he does....

News r suggesting that sagnol and the "old" lizarazu r back for the bavarians.Big boost for the them.

i only want alex and ibra to connect more together, great things could happen. Two very talented players, they could erase defenses easily, and a very dangerous combination upfront

I think, Trez. should replace one of them. Because he can score goals while Ibra and Alex can create chances.

yeah we need Trezeguet in such matches , he can score a goal out of nothing!

    Alé david!
agreed, I remember that he was not with juve last year against bayern.

its bad to be without viera but their is no point in rushing him back and having the injury niggle him for months, basically we will have the same team that was good enough to defeat bayern twice last year and i think we can do it again.

    2-1 juve

    dp zlatan, makaay

I would never bench Trezeguet for such match, not when we r playing in Germany against Bayern Munich and we need an eye on goal considering the limited amount of scoring chances that we might have...
