La Stampa; here's an extract of the complete article :

But isn't that old? It talks about the match against Genoa... At the time it wasn't sure Diego would recover but as you probably noticed he played against Bologna.

In short but you'll get the gist: It says that the Juve side that played against Genoa, without Diego, was more compact and might therefore be a better option against Bayern, than the one we used yesterday.
When they asked Ferrara if Diego will play? We'll see.

If you guys and girls remember, at this same time our first crisis period happened last year.
2 draws in round 4 and round 5 in serie A followed by two defeats (Palermo and Napoli) in round 6 and round 7, with one draw away to BATE Borisov in between, in the second round in CL.

The win against Real in round 3 put us back on track and we started winning everything for more than a month (Inter in round 13 stopped our winning streak).

Now it's way too early to say that we're in some kind of crisis but i believe that again a great result against a great team will be needed to start another winning series.

Defeat in Munich will put huge pressure on our shoulders. If we lose in Munich it will probably reflect negatively on our serie A performances too and i won't be surprised if we lose in Palermo on Sunday too.

We simply must do good this Wednesday.

Yes, I understood that. But I thought you meant he was doubtful because of his injury. ;)

I'm pretty sure Ciro will play him.

Doing good does not mean getting a draw and I can't see us doing better than a draw against the Bavarians.

By "doing good" i meant result wise :)

Draw isn't a bad result so getting a draw will mean that we did good.
Assuming that we'll beat Maccabi twice and won't lose in Bordeaux, the draw in Munich will put is in good position to solve everything at home against Bayern in the last round.

We got a good schedule in CL this year. Since Bayern-Bordeaux will play in round 3 and round 4, it terminates the chances of a potential Bordeaux-Bayern in round 6, where in case Bayern are already qualified as first they could give pts to Bordeaux (or vice-versa), and fuck us up.
Getting a draw in Bayern will put Bayern in a tricky situation too and they'll have to give 100% against Bordeaux.

This match on Wednesday might easily prove to be the most important one for us in the group phase. We'll simply have to play it like it's a CL final and forget that we'll have 4 more matches to fix things.

Well it does, and it's not my bad that the apart from few players in Bayern there is just pure mediocrity.

Anyway just as Allen said we need a good result to put our minds back on track because the team we saw against Bologna was very complacent and was horrible.

This Bayern team is very strong, possibly one of the best pair of wingers in the whole of europe and have a more than decent lb/rb in lahm. Their forwards aren't exactly firing on all cylinders and Gomez is not overally happy with his situation at Bayern. Their defense is pretty good overall but its not the best.

I think they can be exploited through the center as Tymoshuk and Schweini( or Altintop) with Mueller are the best at covering. So we have an advantage there.

This game will be Ciro's toughest test (even more than the players) because the system and the fact we are not entirely convincing on the flanks defensively. Its also a big test for him because we will have to win by having a good defensive game other than that we will be raped. Bayern don't do well against defensive teams and that is why they lost against Hamburg.

So all and all it will be interesting to see how react.

Del Piero should play at least one half, he will run circles around the clumsy Bayern defence.

Buffon - Grosso, Chiellini, Legro, Zebina - Marchisio, Melo, Camo - Diego - Del Piero, Iaquinta.

An early goal, would be priceless but still possible against that defence.

    That's what we need.

Other than the obvious 3 points more importantly is HOW we play .. if we play excellently and still draw I think we could take heart from it and that would still put us back on track to winning ways .. the problem is we have been outplayed in our previous games. Fucking midfield, I hope they get it right.
