We have weakened our defense and improved our attack, and yet we rely too much in our defense.
What I want to see:
Real 4-2-3-1

Buffon
MDS-Rugani-Benatia-Alex Sandro
Pjanic-Matuidi
Bernardeschi-Dybala-D.Costa
Higuain
What we will see is fake 4-2-3-1

Buffon
Barza-Rugani-Benatia-Alex Sandro
Matuidi-Pjanic
D.Costa-Dybala-Sturaro
Higuain

Most likely formation, two players out of position! Allegri said it doesn't matter the formation.

One thing's for sure, I'm glad we got Matuidi in the end, otherwise we'd have zero tackling and steel in midfield.

This game will show we're we're really at this season with all the squad changes. Good thing it's only the first group game and not a crunch match.

Is that his fault though? All the rumors seem to point to the players crumbling and fighting amongst themselves. You can't argue with Euromaxx CL record here.
Zidane tactically outgunned him fairly well from what I saw and read.

Their wing-backs came up high later in the game and we had no response. Ronaldo found so much space throughout the game and got one touch goals, again we had no response.

If we don't use our new wingers and play Sturaro over them then I'm speechless.

Somebody tell Madrid they need to give their 2 recent CLs back because they used Marcelo - Ronaldo on one flank instead of Varane and Whoever the fuck their last choice DM is.

De Sciglio to prove the doubters wrong. Sturaro to make Messi his bitch.
:agree: Just like Italy did against Spain :baus:

It's the first game in the group, against the strongest team in the group. We can afford to experiment a little and throw caution to the wind, instead of deploying pussy tactics. Our defense is weaker, so we should prioritize attack over defense, and see what happens. This one game is unlikely to determine who wins the group.

Neither player was in the squad you doofus :p

Also Allegri > Ventura, that should go without saying.
