are you guys watching football since last 2 years or something?? this isn't fashion you don't go with the trend, before this teams you guys talk about had this wingers barca did great with ronaldinho eto and great midfield and good defense and before them milan did it with kaka and pipo. and before them gerard and zidane and del piero and trezeguet.. its all about how you use your squad.. ateltico btw showed they are a top team with near to non worldclass players. just great organization and great mentality and no true wingers..
The game was quite different in mid 2000s than it is now. Now it's all about pace, directness.

When was the last time a team won CL by playing a different formation than 4-3-3/4-2-3-1? Who are Juventus to change this?

The only way to pull off a 3-5-2/4-4-2 or any other formation is to play counterattack.

Do you guys realize how much better you played in CL with Giovinco on the field than Tevez? Tevez may be 100x better than him as a player, but he doesn't provide the width Giovinco provides.

You were struggling against Trabz at home, then Giovinco plays away you win comfortably. Then next game right back to Tevez.

atletico was able to achieve that last year with 4-4-2 or 4-5-1 with super hyper defensive team.. and am not saying we should be like them or shouldn't be like the teams you talk about.. but reality is that we are juventus and we have players like pogba vidal tevez asamoah morata marchisio pirlo giovinco.. use them the best way if it means 4-2-2-2 or even 6-3-1 so be it i don't care.. its about getting the best from the players with great tactics trust me.

Have you even read my post? have I mentioned that they are perfect to the point, that they cannot concede goals, what the hell? You have written your post like i've said that they were amazing today, that they have played super football, because if you really really really push your brains to the limit, and read again, you will see, that I have written that they were luckier, how the hell could they be amazing, if they had 2 shot on the target?

And about their game against Olympiacos, you are saying like no team have a bad game, and also like they were playing the same tactics that they played against us, really clap clap. comparing two totally different games.

And I really belive that Atletico are not better than us, because they certainly didn't prove that in today's match.
No you're right, the CL finalists and La liga champions who just defeated us without conceding a shot have proven nothing

WE ARE JUVE!

Did you read what I said?

It's fine though. I understand your club's mentality and its supporters. Blame anyone but yourselves. It's Serie A's fault, it's the ref's fault, Atletico is too good, Bayern is too good, Galasaray is too good, Trabzonspor is too good.

It's never the fact that you play slow boring football, and the only difference between Italy and Europe is that in Italy you're in the winning end of 1-0, while in Europe in the losing end of 1-0. Ref help?

am all about the chock thing and the wrong mentality... we are too humble at Europe and not aggressive enough to scare other teams. and this mentality is my biggest problem tbh.

Fully agree.

We're always afraid of just taking the game to the opponent.
yea man.. i swear i said it during the match .. '' our biggest problem is that we are too strong to play like this ". we have the technical and great players to perform and guess what atletico gave us space and respected that we have a great midfield and let us play at their half.. but guess what we didn't attack with character instead we got nervous as a sign of weak mentality and passes was ll over the place without concentration and that's the deep problem we have.. we are too scared too attack

The defense started from Mandzukic, it's not just the 4 guys closest to their keeper. Did it even happen one of our non-defenders to be left one on one against an Atletico player? There were always two of them. And then you expect a Juve player to be free for a pass, you pass to him, and again two guys pop up out of nowhere.
It's nothing new. That's copy/paste from the matches I saw from them last season vs Real, Barca, Milan, Chelsea. And even if you somehow brake the wall in front of their box, their men in the box cleared everything. I'm not sure if we'd get a better result if we had better and more creative players, but with what we had at disposal, it was close to impossible to even test their keeper tonight.
Credit to Atletico. They indeed risked finishing this match 0:0 and find themselves in a very bad position, but as far as nullifying the opponent, they are #1 in the world and they showed that again tonight.
despite their approach to be disruptive, i saw a vulnerable atleti and a really nervous and clueless in the final third juve.

oh and sorry but the stuff in bold is simply ridiculous.

There was a time we had real defenders. I really cant stand this. The fuckers couldn't even do a few meters pass.

Had we played an aggressive team those extremely dumb mistakes would have turned into conceded goals.

Barzagli truly held this shit together.

It's pretty pathetic seeing top class football players unable to make the sort of pass you'd be ashamed to miss in primary school lunchtime football, and under a similar amount of non existent pressure too.

Really the likes of Chiellini need to be told to hoof it at times, as they clearly can't be relied upon to make simple passes under some pressure at times.

Vidal was guilty of this too to be fair, Llorente always is.

Yes I fail to see how any team in the world should be able to stop us from testing their goalkeeper,

Yes I fail to see how any team in the world should be able to stop us from testing their goalkeeper,
also knowing your team will get pressured as a coach we set clear 'exit strategies', as the pressuring opens up space further up. and 2 of our 3 main outlets(wings and targetman) llorente and evra, really let us down
