Yes. Atletico played exactly like this 65 matches last year. It's incredible how it keeps working.

But Italian coaches are so conservative and cowards that it's really annoying.

Also Atletico is such a hateable hateable team. I really wanted to punch Simeone during the game. Most annoying team in Europe.

I don't know about you guys but I think it was Conte out there coaching us disguised as Max

because there is no way in hell that Max could manage a game like that even if he tried

Man we miss a creative player so badly

It's hard enough breaking down top defences with crerative players, but when your attackers can't pull off a 5 yard pass it turns into something impossible.

Wth the game wasn't anything good, but you guys are acting as if we just lost against fucking Malmöp or something.

That's Atleticos game, they're amazing at this.

What a horrible game. No shot on goal and passing between CBs all the game :sergio:

That's the price for going the Conte's route Mr. Allegri. I'm disappointed, my fears weren't a bubble after all. Again we were waiting for Tevez to do something on his own. At least build up from the back were better than in Conte's era. The rest was pretty much the same shit.

The ref. was horrible BTW. He shouldn't be considered as a CL level ref at all.

I can't believe people blame the ref :lol2: wtf...

we played passive today, we created absolutely nothing and had no shots. Most of our play was passing from defense to midfield and back, passing to Llorente where he holds the ball and loses it. We wouldn't be able to score like that if we had 90 more minutes.
You're misreading my post. I'm not blaming the ref for our less (even though he was horrible). I thought the :madsmiley: gave it away.

I am not upset w the result per se but I dont understand why after a good first half, and then atletico changed their game and opened up in the second, we allowed them to come but not take that opportunity to do the same? We honestly could have because atletico was beatable tonight. I dont think its so much of them winning but juve lost.

Its very disheartening to see that and only panic and making the subs after 80th min. It just shows that we were taking things for granted.

This is precisely the match Atleti wanted to play, and we couldn't force their hand to do otherwise.
Felt like it from the middle of the second half. They were in "control" from there on. Even though I think they scored just as they planed to do, I still think this could have easily gone ether way including a draw.

Have you seen with how many people Atleticvo defended? Hardly surprising that we would create many chances in such a game against such opponent.
Judging by that it's very easy to win matches and pretty much all competitions.

We never looked like we wanted to win. And we didn't. We never came to the final third. Was it because of the numbers of defenders? We should apply the same next time, at least we won't lose like this.
