First it was us choking in EL, then we did good in the CL but Bayern destroyed us in 1/4 while last season we didn't pass group stages.

If you're judging by that 'success' then we aren't even top 10.

you keep moving the goalposts, and they did replace sold players and they still beat the same real madrid you have in top 3 convincingly.

He returned to training I'm not sure if he will play. According to the reports it will be ogbonna playing instead of caceres.

I'll keep preferring athletico to benfica and porto. Simply because athletico is alot less to last year and because we'll not underestimate them like we would with those other two.

Costa and courtois are world class. The replacements arent quite.
I do like to see their playstyle counter real very hard each time, cause that real midfield has a huge weakeness against athletico

I have set a very clear viewpoint. If you want to be "elite" or in the top5 , you first need to have gotten there.

Athletico's upgrades are significantly inferior to what they lost. They'll keep doing fine against teams who are far to offensive and poorly balanced, but they wont nearly repeat last season


If they lose against us tomorrow, they will struggle to get out of the groupstage

this, i know you meant us being intimidated, but i want to talk about the opposite, you had the same problem in serie A until conte came here. teams would lose to juventus before game evens starts, we need to get some of that back in CL.
