i don't know i feel like we gonna win i mean Alegri got good results in CL whit a shitty milan team i believe he can take us further in the CL than last year or the year before and we are one of the best teams out there we can play against anyone and get a good result. Last year against real we dominated but didn't have luck and I hope we have luck on our side on wednesday so we don't suffer surprises like glatasaray(olympiacos) in the last round

It's been quite hard to gauge how well our team is doing compared to last season so far this season.

This will be the first real test of the season and we'll know exactly where we're at.

Gut feel is a 2-1 loss.
Yeh, it will be tought. It will all depend on our commitment. If we go with our usual pussyplay like in the Conte´s era...we are totally done. Lets see what Allegri has under his sleeve.

There is also a bit more pressure on Atlético, being at home and having lost their first game.
Yes  And we can for sure do it better than olympiakos

Thats my only positive aspect from this time. That we have Allegri.
If conte was still in charge.. i woudl not even bother, it was a sure defeat. Now with Allegri.. ill give him the benefot of doubt.

I'd start with Morata or Giovinco in this one. I reckon their speed and ability to run with the ball will be more useful than Llorente's hold up play against Atleti.

A draw would be a good result but I wouldn't be shocked if we manage to win this.

We really need someone to hold the ball like Llorente in this game, not a 56kg little boy, Giovinco needs space, and Atleti defenders are very aggressive.

I think t all depends how Allegri guesses Atletico´s approach. I personally dont know how atletico plays.. but from what I can tell.. they seem to take a counter attacking approach in CL.

If they are eager to go out and score against us given their previous result... it would be interesting to use morata and giovinco in counters...given that both of them specially Gio, got experience with counterattacking tactics.

But since we are the champions of Italy and going on a unbeaten run in the league and CL, im pretty sure that Atletico will use the same gameplan they used against Madrid in the final. They will soak pressure and counter us hardcore. I think theres no way they will try an uber offensive approach with us having players like Tevez, Vidal and Pogba.

Do Atleti fans speak English? They didn't come to our forum like other team, Celtic, Galata, Chelsea, Malmo Etc.
Spain is a country which prides themselves for being the motherland of the Spanish language. They often feel that their language is a world wonder, and dont bother learning other languages most of the time....specially english.

Most things that go inside of Spain get insta-translated to their mother tongue.

Most spaniards dont know a thing about english, and dont bother learning it. Its almost like an inferior and uninportant thing to them.

This is also what I expect and fear. Atletico will pressure our back three so much and really force our midfield to paly high-energy football as they go from attack to defend in a heartbeat. It'll be interesting if Barzagli is deemed fit and returns if Allegri goes with a back four. He said he was waiting on Barzagli's return. This might be that time.

4-3-1-2

Buffon

Licht - Barzagli - Chiellini - Evra

Vidal - Marchisio - Pogba

Tevez

Morata - Llorente
