This formation has to start against Arsenal...

Buffon
Balza-Thuram-Canna-Zambro
Camo-Emo-Vieria-Mutu
Trezeguet-DelPiero

Mutu could go under DP-Trez...

Mutu directly behind them.....not on the left. He'd play much better.

it's pathetic to see how we underestimate the team that we support. perhaps bcoz time and time again we've been disappointed by Capello's tactics.

we do have the squad to beat the hell out of Arse, IF they play up to their abilities. given the right tactics, with the players that we have, Arse shud just forfeit the game now coz we are simply gonna crusify them.

sadly, base on our current form...the way we've been playing this year...and the tactics we know Capello had used and will use, we're heading out of Champions League yet again.

the thing i hate is, the press will have a field day if we lose. even now, when the game hasnt been played yet, they have crowned Arse champions of europe...just for getting past Real. just imagine if they beat us....? :groan:

I'd rather underestimate them and be suprised, than overestimate them and end up disappointed & sad!

Did Mutu ever play as a Trequartista?

no...

but did he ever play as a winger before he came to Juve ??

The answer is "no"

But, of course, our wonderful coach wouldnt think to be a bit innovative, and play Mutu as a trequartista, or as a striker......he'd rather waste him on the wing :wallbang: :wallbang: :wallbang:

Neddy should be the one who plays as a trequartista IMO...

We have a better team than Arsenal, but they have the better coach

I totally agree with you. Mutu is not a winger, nor is he a trequartista. Nedved is dangerous everytime he plays in the middle (see Werder, Livorno). He should be the trequartista behind Trezeguet and Del Piero. Zlatan should be goalkeeper :D :pumpkin:

With the right tactics and positionall settings - Our team would be a monster.
totally agree !!!

Nedved usually cuts into the middle, drifting away from the wing. Does'nt Mutu do something similar given his attacking instinct ?
he doesn't do it enough, IMO

he needs to always be in the center of the field...there, he can help make plays for the forwards, and he had a mean shot as well !!

true.......he would'nt have to worry bout trailing back and assisting whoever is at left fullback to bring the ball outa defence - Instead he'd be a threader to Trezz and when shooting, a straight up goal scoring nuclear war-head...

Guys,

Zlatan, even if he's off-form, makes the team play better and higher on the field.
He constantly keeps at least two defenders on him.

As much as I loved and still love DP, he's not a top-player anymore. He's at his best when he plays the last part of the game when defenses are tired.

Negative.

We already saw what an Off-Form Zlatan can do. Chew the ball, not able to pass, not able to focus and always angry(well Even If he's In-Form he's like that). So I actually don't see how our team can play better.

Unlike Del Piero who's having a great season, we actually play better Football around him and we do have many options to do when he's on, and he proved it several times.

Saying he's not a top player anymore is pathetic IMO.....This statement ppl always try to throw it up when they dont find any other reason to talk about Del Piero..."He's not the player he has once been". Pardon Moi, neither is Ronaldo or Figo or Even Nedved and so on. Yet they keep producing "greatness". It's time to get over this theory or whatever you call it. Oh, and what did Del Piero prove to you this season? that he's not up to it anymore? Riiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiight.
