Does Vieira get criticised for not scoring enough in Italy?

and if he does, could one of you kind gentlemen explain to me why Juventus expected him to be a goal scorer?
he doesnt get criticised for not scoring, he scored a few goals early in the season, its just some of his performances have been poor, though overall he's been ok, he hasn't exactly been phenomenal, hope he has a good game tomorow

his scoring rate is above my exzpectations. personally, i didn't expect him to score. he's not a player of such type. we have others who can score. except ibra maybe :). vieira is responsible for destroying opponent's midfield and offence. and comparing our vieira to arsenal's vieira :) our's tends to go forward more than he did in arsenal (at least at the beginning of the season)

helb can be dangerous but he also looses the ball in very dangerous situations and mutu can exploit this with his speed.

also hleb is not actually the bees kness defensively.

i must admit im worried about van persie i hope he is not quite bac on form following his injury.

maybe with DP out injured zlatan place will not be under pressure and just maybe he can actually put in a decent performance for a change.

trez will be the key if he has his finishing boots on
When Mutu played for Chelsea he wasn't exactly jet-heeled. He is not slow but whereas Hleb is 8/10 for speed, Mutu is more like a 7/10. Hleb's passing has also dramatically improved. Still, he will probably give away a few passes at some point. Defensively he is decent as well, I would say he would be bit more disciplined than Mutu who seems a bit of a maverick.

Van Persie is a big time danger. He has the best shot I have seen for a long time. That's when he is not falling on his ass

i think tomorrow night you will realise mutu is a bit faster than you give him credit for, anyway cheillini is defensively solid behind mutu so he will be ok

i think mutu will score tomorro

The reason I am starting to get slightly worried now is that it's clear Juventus are treating us with the utmost respect. Back in 2001-2002 that wasn't the case. With this in mind, we might not get the space i was anticpiating.

All things considered, the most important player tomorrow for arsenal is Alexandr Hleb. If he doesn't catch fire and take out two or three juventus players with one of his slalom dribbles then I'm not sure Henry will get the space to do his magic. If you frustrate Henry early, his head could drop and then he can be very easy to handle, especially in europe. Three years ago Henry was regularly average in europe and it is possible for him to have one of his stroppy nights.

Ljungberg is big loss in the sense of our playing a possible 4-5-1 formation. He, along with Reyes and Hleb, is one of three terriers scurrying behind Henry- they're like his foot soldiers. With Ljungberg injured, 4-5-1 will be consigned to the dustbin and 4-4-2 will be used tomorrow.

Lehman

Eboue, Toure, Senderos, Flamini
Helb, Fabregas, Gilberto, Reyes (Pires replaces him around 65 min mark)
Henry, Van Persie

p.s- I think Mutu will be a big liability defensively for Juventus if he plays on the left-wing. Hleb runs on duracell.
also dont forget mutu has played in england, and even if he plays in differant position(if cap will use him on the wing) he has expierence how to play against england club, so missing nedved isnt maby even that bad thing. ofcourse teams have changed a lot by the years, but the fact is, he knows england style.

Is cheillini the blond guy with the hair? He looks pretty decent.

Mutu did score against us a couple of years ago for Chelsea. Good player but he is not a player that is gonna stop us bombing forward. I remember he was just swept away in the second half of that game he scored in. Barely touched the ball.

Whatever happens in terms of scoreline tomorrow I can guarantee possession will be about 60-40 in our favour. This will be because Vieira will try and play in a restrained manner because of the occasion. I honestly think it will be hard for him to attack us with menace because of his attachment to the club. Ex-players have said that they hated playing against Arsenal when they went back. It's a surreal experience.

No the blonde guy is Nedved's brother, Balzaretti.

i have to say i really rate van persie, he has the potential to become one of the best strikers in the world, a great finsher, good stregnth, good in the air, can dribble, not exactly slow and can hit a freekick well..................though having been out for a while i dont think it would be wise from an arsenal point of view to play him in a game like this
