Playing 4-4-1-1 is one sad formation... A formation that is seeking for 1point at most and 0 if playing average.

Ciro keeps thinking defensively and this is why he's in this situation. You think defensively when it's the time to think. You make substitutions based on what your players are doing on the pitch and not based on time(Ciro waits for the 60min to makes his 1st sub). You change tactics during games, you communicate with your men when things are going bad.

We're constantly playing defense, and we're not even a defensively inclined squad. Our defense actually sucks for that matter, bar Chiellini.

We must attack, and score goals. It'll motivate the team to keep playing until the dying minutes.

Buffon
Caceres - Cannavara - Chiellini - Grosso
Melo --------- Marchi
Diego - Giovinco
Amauri - Del Piero

We need help up front, Amauri and Diego can't do it themselves.

We can't even hold the ball for any extended period of time to create anything.

Even the lower teams dominate us in possession.

OMG , still no Resign nor sacking news :sergio:
It's killing me. He needs to go.
Although, he mentioned that he will not be resigning. So all that's left is for the board to sack him, but will they? They haven't spoken yet, so there might be something going on. We'll probably hear about it tomorrow.

he is like a robot......

Everything is done in teh same order, it doesnt matter what is happening on the pitch...and there are set rules also:

1-To Play as defensive as you can, with long balls to the lone striker.
2-To Never ever attempt a sub before 60 minutes, with the only exception being an injury.
3-No matter what, always use Melo.
4-The most important of all, never EVER use Giovinco, he can attack and score goals.
5-In case of being down in the score, introduce Deceglie or any other defensive player for an attacking player. (and use him out of position if possible).

That is shocking clip on you tube.

I can't believe it. Ciro was insulted and they were having an argument. He says "your colleague is stupid ..."

Then Mughini with his wild hair at the end, i liked. The point is Ciro needs sacking immediately, months ago. But Maifredi is a disgrace to football punditry after that savage behavior.

Devastating what's happened at the club.

Someone has described it a few pages earlier. I just found a longer clip, though, that shows Ciro initiated the entire thing, albeit responding to Maifredi's assault in the press. He got on the interview and immediately mentions he sees Maifredi being in the studio -- Maifredi has been railing him the last month, called him a deficient, a youth coach at best, etc ...

Ciro says what side is he managing lol?

maifreddi is a fuck i dont care, he keeps talking shit.

ciro has won everything as a player, maifreddi? what the fuck has he done?

ciro is telling him to shutup, and maifreddi is talking shit and insulting ciro, calling him stupid.

maifreddi is saying the team could win the scudetto, he is probably right but ciro as a person doesnt deserve to be insulted, maifreddi is a fuck.

Ferrara: 'I'll accept any decision'
Sunday 10 January, 2010
Ciro Ferrara won't resign and feels he can turn Juventus around, but concedes he will “accept any decision” from the club.

“Evidently the 3-0 result is clear and came about through three set plays, something that has also cost us in other games. By that stage we didn't even have the strength to react,” he said of the 3-0 home defeat to Milan.

“This is a very difficult moment in which we tend to be punished at the first chance. It's true we didn't create much, but we also kept Milan down too and it took a dead ball situation to break the deadlock.”

The Coach opted for a new 4-4-1-1 system, but it failed to solve their issues.

“We often went with long balls that were difficult for Amauri to deal with. With this system we need a lot of pressure down the flanks, which allows us to run fewer risks at the back and creates a few more problems for us going forward.

“We tried to change and clearly it did not go well. I changed in part because of the players who were missing, so it was to some degree a forced decision. I opted to go down this path and take full responsibility.”

Guus Hiddink remains in the background as a potential replacement for Ferrara and the fans staged protests during the final minutes of the match, setting fire to the stadium seats.

“I don't think that I risk my job. I am far more concentrated on what we need to do in order to turn around this negative situation,” noted Ferrara.

“The rest is not up to me and I don't make those decisions. I try to do all I can to overcome this bad moment, then I will accept any decision.

“I am not the kind of person who abandons the ship. It's not my style and I will try to turn this around.

“I understand the disappointment of the fans. Our attitude must change their minds and the way things are going. Everyone is disappointed and we're sorry for that.

“I don't think it would be wise to set targets right now other than to recreate the enthusiasm with which we started the campaign and then build from there.
