Andy,i have to say this...
you are one of the most intolerant members on this forum, you are extreme in your reactions, over the top in your criticism at times, verbally abusive to not only playing staff but also management and boardroom staff in the wake of defeat
But thats why hes so great

MILAN: Juventus coach Ciro Ferrara said he believed he would stay in his job after a 3-0 defeat at home to AC Milan on Sunday all but ended their

Serie A title hopes.

Third-placed Juve have now slipped 12 points behind leaders Inter Milan at the halfway stage of the season and the loss was met by minor trouble inside and outside the stadium in Turin.

Their fourth defeat in five matches in all competitions, including their Champions League exit to Bayern Munich in December, has led to renewed media speculation that Juve are lining up Russia coach Guus Hiddink to replace Ferrara.

When asked if he had considered resigning, the 42-year-old told Sky TV: "I am not made like that. My way is to try to change things.

"I sincerely think my job is not at risk. Of course we are in a negative period but it's not for me to make the decisions. Any decisions will be accepted."

The former Juve defender took charge for two games at the end of last season after the surprise sacking of Claudio Ranieri and impressed enough to be given the role full time despite his lack of managerial experience.

Well at least the board didn't come up with bs about having faith in ciro and the project immediately after the match this time. I'm hopeful that we see something happen tomorrow (guus' "vacation" ended at jan 10th right).

Regardless of his coaching ability (or lack thereof) Ferrara is a Juventus legend and should be treated appropriately.*

*This does not mean he shouldn't be sacked as soon as a proper replacement is found.

Remember that Ferrara has a good heart and he is a sensitive man.
He always fought for Juve with determination and he has demonstrated his love for this club.
I believe that he is honest about the situation, it is not by his hands to retire and since our board cant find or dont want to find anything better, he will not abandon us without a care.

He knows better than us that there is no Guss coming and its only him, or chaos,
he is not CR, once we have an alternative and he is instructed to do so, he will leave!
Good post. Cronios. +rep
