The thing that disappoints me the most is the fact that Ferrara hasn't done the right thing and resign of his own accord. If I was in his position, and I was leading the team in the way that he is, my love for the club would overpower my willingness to work, and after a 4th defeat in 5 games, 6th of the season and with about 6 points from the last available 20 I would hand the reigns over to someone who could actually do the job.
Look how many unemployed people are there in the world currently because of the economical crises, Ciro would struggle to find any job, and since his not a very good coach, he can forget about continuing in football business.
So of course he wont resign, especially if he gets paid better then a lot of people out there in the world.

I know our management are masters at disappointing the fans, but I trully do believe that a managerial change will be made in the next few days. Sure Blank came out after the game and said that Ranieri is sa... oops i meant Ferrara is safe, but he's hardly going to come out in the press and say otherwise during the aftermath of the game, we saw the same happen with ranieri.

I'm against firing coaches, and i dont want to get into the former 'inter cycle' of firing someone every 9 months. We need to give the job to a coach who is world class. This season is dead for us, so let them build for this season, and then next season we can show what we're worth. I'm trying to think of available coaches. My choice would obviously be guus hiddink. Here's a list of who i can think of (these are not my suggestions.)

Hiddink
Klinsmann
Houllier
Terim
Laudrup
Schuster
Sven
Gentile
Zeman
Van Basten
Billic
Vialli
Scolari
Casiraghi

Some interesting names there, and 90% of them better than Ferrara. The only one's that would really appeal to me though would be Guus, Houllier, maybe sven and maybe bilic... I'd love to see Gentile as the manager, because he would kick some serious ass, but I'm worried about his lack of club experience..
Good post, Mikey...I am unsure as to how I feel about Ciro's continued desire to rescue us. Part of me thinks he should have resigned by now, for his love for the club would be the driving force in his thinking and behaviour, but Ciro was a dogged winner as a player, and as a manager, I assume he still feels like throwing in the towel would be tantamount to a treason of sorts...

regardless of this, he should be sacked. There can be no doubt about this now. We have become a shambles under his stewardship. YES we can blame Blanc, YES we can blame the players...but the first casualty of this debacle must be the manager. The buck stops with him first and foremost, and he simply cannot spur the troops into action. We have become one of the worst teams in Serie A. The Rot is setting in. And the only way out of this horrible situation is to bring in a Man who knows how to manage a football team. Blanc and Secco, are far less revelant to the current crisis, especially as the directors and owners MUST SURELY NOW BE MAKING THE DECISION FOR BLANC, to sack Ciro...we cannot sack the team, so we must sack the man who organizes them, who gives them their game plan.

Hiddink will be the dream, and Bilic also will be good.. Vialli has not done coaching job for long time and i don't know if he still have the ability.. Laudrup is doing great while in Getafe if i'm not wrong but so is Schuster back then so i don't know if he capable for our job..

Because of the last 3-4 seasons, Juve will have hardly any fans in the new generation of soccer fans.

This is not sad as the more fans the better, but it means Juve is in a bigger hole, a bigger financial one. No one will be supporting them and buying their merchandise, why would any soccer fans growing up right now support them?

We are all probably from an era when Juve were successful - 80s and 90s and early 2000s, but for the last few years, Juve would be hardly picking up a single new fan, which is another highly urgent reason why they need to get their performances on the pitch back on track otherwise Juve will drift into oblivion.

Look at Napoli, they had heaps of fans when Maradona was there, now they're nothing.

If you were in Ciro's place, would you resign?

He needs to get fired. Enough with bullshit sentimentalities already.
The management needs to get fired.
The medical staff needs to get fired.

I like what Slaven Bilic brings to the table too. He's managed a national squad and produced, he obviously knows how to fire up his players, and he makes everyone work hard. Of course, Guus would be my first choice, but having Bilic wouldn't be too bad.

On a serious note I've decided after the Bari game to quit watching this team until Ciro is out... seeing the outcome of the Catania game I can safely say it was a wise choice for my nerves and health.
I thought about doing that, but then I said "hey, what doesn't kill you, makes you stronger" :D

Besides, when we finally dug ourselves out of this ditch... it's gonna feel fuckin good.
