What if Ciro was Inters coach? They would have fired him by now. We're trying to act all classy and not fire our coaches in the middle of the season. Fuck that, its not that classy to lose either.
Inter spent years firing managers at the drop of a hat. It brought them nothing but instability and inconsistency until they were granted a few soft titles. Football fans are fickle, prone to knee-jerk actions, and it's bad business.

Maybe they don't have a replacement for Ferrara? Maybe Ferrara wanted to resign after the loss to Bayern, but the management asked him to stay, until they find a new coach?

Inter fired good and experienced coaches, that was stupid. But we have a failing newbie.

Say what you want but this is a results orientated business. It's not like this is Catania,we are accustomed to favorable results & that shouldn't change. If this team was filled with mediocre players it would have been a different case. There's too much talent to fail imo.

How does one motivate these players? They're going into the festive season playing like crap.Bringing in a new coach will get some of the under performers to wake up & instill some motivation & fresh air into the locker room.

Especially now in the winter break would be the perfect time to bring in a new, proven, coach. I say chances are good it'll be that way. It can't continue like this, players aren't standing behind Ciro.

He still has the club in third. Sure the CL was a disappointment, and recent form's been poor, but I still think it'd be rash to get rid of him just yet.
I would have gotten rid of him after the humiliating exit in the CL against Bayern. These past few games after the Bayern game was just further proof.

I know our management are masters at disappointing the fans, but I trully do believe that a managerial change will be made in the next few days. Sure Blank came out after the game and said that Ranieri is sa... oops i meant Ferrara is safe, but he's hardly going to come out in the press and say otherwise during the aftermath of the game, we saw the same happen with ranieri.

The thing that disappoints me the most is the fact that Ferrara hasn't done the right thing and resign of his own accord. If I was in his position, and I was leading the team in the way that he is, my love for the club would overpower my willingness to work, and after a 4th defeat in 5 games, 6th of the season and with about 6 points from the last available 20 I would hand the reigns over to someone who could actually do the job.

I'm against firing coaches, and i dont want to get into the former 'inter cycle' of firing someone every 9 months. We need to give the job to a coach who is world class. This season is dead for us, so let them build for this season, and then next season we can show what we're worth. I'm trying to think of available coaches. My choice would obviously be guus hiddink. Here's a list of who i can think of (these are not my suggestions.)

Hiddink
Klinsmann
Houllier
Terim
Laudrup
Schuster
Sven
Gentile
Zeman
Van Basten
Billic
Vialli
Scolari
Casiraghi

Some interesting names there, and 90% of them better than Ferrara. The only one's that would really appeal to me though would be Guus, Houllier, maybe sven and maybe bilic... I'd love to see Gentile as the manager, because he would kick some serious ass, but I'm worried about his lack of club experience..

Looks in rather happy mode after loosing to last place team:http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DIeL0DRkc4k
Man, that was painful to watch. And not in the way you think. More because it shows Ciro is a man of such dignity and such grace. The way he speaks, presents himself... a man of true class. Just look at the way someone like Arrigo Sacchi contains himself in his criticism when adressing Ciro.

Ciro might be a novice at coaching but one thing is for sure, these scumbag players are letting him down, they've decided to drop dead and blame everything around them until they get a new coach.

Maybe it's the right thing to let Ciro go now though, I'm not denying he is too inexperienced to handle a situation as tough as this one, but man should the players be ashamed of themselves.
