A large section of the fans applauded the appointment of Ciro at the beginning of the season. I'm one of them.

In my opinion, those who applauded the move for an inexperienced manager, are also at fault for this miserable season.

The management are at fault for being affected by the fans. which clearly shows that there is no "PROJECT" in the first place.

The biggest problem isn't Ciro. The biggest problem was Gigli (who left already, thank god), Blanc and, less, SUCCO. Seriously, If we want to build this team for greatness, we need an experienced management staff who have a clue about one thing or two in this world of football.

Now, stick with Ciro till the end of the season. Let's see if he's going to win one of Serie A or Europa League and improve the overall performance while having a clear plan of his replacement next season and probable transfer window moves.

Apparently Ferrara is going to be fired if Juventus fail this weekend but if management does this the reason is to cover their own asses. Don't see how this will change anything.

Ferrara might be in over his head a little but he is not the main reason and is just a scapegoat.

And Ranieri lasted two years. Sacking someone after that long isn't a big deal.

Il Corriere dello Sport understands Juventus will sack Ciro Ferrara if his side fails to beat Bari at the San Nicola on Saturday.

The Bianconeri were knocked out of the Champions League on Tuesday evening after a 4-1 defeat at home to Bayern Munich.

Juventus President Jean-Claude Blanc has since come out in defence of Ferrara, but the board is reportedly far from happy with his performance.

The Bianconeri currently lie third in Serie A, five points adrift of League leaders Inter despite last Saturday's 2-1 win in the Derby d'Italia.

A victory over Bari at the weekend will apparently be no more than a stay of execution until the end of the season unless Ferrara manages to win the Scudetto, Europa League or Coppa Italia and secure qualification for the Champions League.

Possible replacements include Claudio Gentile and Gigi Casiraghi, but Il Corriere believes Juventus are more inclined to hire either Guus Hiddink or Sven-Goran Eriksson.

Ferrara only got the job in the summer, besting the likes of Luciano Spalletti and Gian Piero Gasperini despite having no prior experience as a Head Coach.

Juventus rarely sack anyone, although they did swing the axe in Claudio Ranieri's direction last season.

He became the first Juventus trainer to get the chop since Gigi Maifredi in 1991.

I can't see why is he still in Nottingham directing a club in the third division! We got our striped jersey style from Notts county, though, gotta respect them

For me, Sven is a good option. But if the possibility of getting Guus is there, then we must go for it.

evaluating the situation right now, i think it was totally nuts believing someone like ferrara could do anything valuable.

being a coach and being a player are two pair of shoes.

would you let a stewardess fly a plain, because she did work many years on a plain (perhaps instructed by a flight captain)?

would you let a simple worker become a supervisor or even chief of an department ? there are two totally different things obeying instructions and guiding/instructing other workers in the right way with proper information based decisions...

I would take Sven any day of the week, he did a marvelous job at City, certainly has an eye for players and got them playing nice football.

I would hold out the season unless we can get Hiddink now but no replacement just to finish the season. After the year is done get either Lippi or Hiddink. We need a great coach not a mediocre coach who could fail again.

Do not say you like Lippi,it is not popular here,many members are against Lippi,against Italian coaches and against Italian NT,so keep it for yourself,friendly advice.

Another exaple Almiron in Bari.

Think it's because all those player mentioned are stars in their clubs but here they need to accept a different role,this club is simply killing their potential (Almiron,Poulsen and Tiago don't have such potential as Diego,Amauri and Melo obviously).
I think that Melo doesn't have a right role in our team while Poulsen and Tiago don't have a capacity needed for Juve.
Diego satisfied me!
